Warbler's original colony was slaughtered by the King's army. Warbler is the sole survivor due to being knocked out during the fight, the resulting injury causing her to be blind in one eye, deaf in one ear, and losing several teeth. She lost her mother and brother in the battle, and was found by Crane after all was said and done. She appreciates Crane giving her a new family to call her own, even if it being forced upon her makes her a tad uncomfortable.

Despite everything, Warbler still tries to stay upbeat at all times and have a positive attitude. She keeps trying to connect with the adults around her, but many of them won't give her the time of day. She likes hanging out with Lain and Scout the most.
