He never shows emotion, always having a blank, dead look on his face. However, inwardly he is intensely emotional. He is filled with strong feelings but is unable to understand or grasp any of them, causing him to stay in a reserved state to cope with them. This makes him incredibly apathetic, and he never expresses how he feels. When he does in a rare moment, it's normally done in a very apathetic manner as well, such as having a blank look even when crying or laughing. Overall, he greatly lacks energy and enthusiasm, so he can appear a bit lazy and aloof. But really it is because of his cynical and pessimistic way of thinking that he lacks a drive to do things. He will force himself to complete tasks if they in some way interest him and make him believe they can provide some sort of entertainment in his endless boredom.

In a typical conversation, he talks rather little, replying in short straight to the point sentences. But he has very prince-like mannerisms, he always speaks with very polite and proper language, and has good posture and manners. He greatly dislikes vulgarity and overly obnoxious behavior. He can be more friendly at times, however. If he is incredibly comfortable and trusting of someone, he is somewhat of a scatterbrain towards them. Being quickly distracted and talking endlessly about multiple different topics at once, or coming up with very eccentric or bizarre ideas. During these times, he can be very entertaining and amusing to some, or confusing and annoying to others.

Though this occasional scatterbrain behavior of his does not at all mean he is unintelligent, he is very knowledgeable in an array of subjects, especially any sort of academic information. He can also have a sense of dry humor when feeling content, so it is common to hear him make a joke about something or someone in a very monotone way. Which, since so unexpected of him, can have varying results. Also despite the fact he is apathetic constantly, he still very much has opinions and likes and dislikes. He can be assertive at times in stating those as well, and doesn't like not giving any input when it comes to a decision.

He would never mention it to another, but inwardly he has a rather twisted part of his personality where he really enjoys being used and controlled depending on the person. He can be considered an emotional masochist.
