Youngwon is a bit of a despicible woman. She is driven by the sole purpose of finding things to do to please the Goddess she worships, one who hasn't responded to her in over 700 years. Youngwon is desperate enough to even disown her own blood children for being born with different gifts, and to take the life of one born without a gift. She comes across as a caring ruler to Bulkochsungians who are normal citizens, a leader worthy of her rule. But behind closed doors she is ruthless to those who work under her. Her temper is not to be tested.
