| Coinjam works at Pinball's arcade, often stocking claw machines and polishing / "testing" (really he's just procrastinating) the game cabinets. Coinjam is a super lazy and a bit snarky guy who's known for being pretty chill and fun to talk to... though he's a bit sarcastic and pessimistic with a dark sense of humor, so he doesn't have many friends. He also views himself in a rather negative light, and often is self deprecating which people in Somnio aren't very fond of. Coinjam loves to laugh in the face of the unknown, often spending his night shifts staring out the arcade window, doodling on napkins and imagining what could truly be out there. He sees life as a big game, with random numbers determining everyone's fate, and the sky being a sign that he truly just is a small fraction in a universe of endless numbers... and it can be a bit of a bleak way to look at the world. He tends to overthink a lot, and though he masks his worry about everything with a chuckle know he truly doesn't know what he's doing. However despite his dark and immature sense of humor, along with his negative outlook on life, Coinjam is very caring and will always be there for a friend in need. He loves to make people who visit the arcade smile, and finds joy in being generous and nice for no particular reason. He always tries to make people happy, and knows even just a bit of kindness can make a person's day.ย Apart of him knows this is his purpose, to just bring as much joy and comfort to Somnio as possible before he has to leave it. In short; though he views himself as immature, depressed looser-- he's a lot smarter and kinder than he thinks he is. He often visits the local pet and plush shelter to play with and babysit the creatures there. | |
