- AU PREMISE / SUMMARY-

"It's said before Celestia and Luna, there were two princesses now lost to time. These starcrossed lovers, known as the princesses of destiny, lived in a town where the everfree forest now is.

(it should be noted, this kingdom was before most of Equestria. Idk if the timeline of the holiday episodes apply--)

However things changed when an evil unicorn, Dusklight Break, wanted to steal the magic of nature itself. Using an ancient spell, he attempted to steal all the universe's magic for his very own.

Due to his selfishness and greed, the entire world was knocked out of balance, as plants began to run wild and the weather stopped changing. The moon and sun would no longer shift in the sky, and the people of Morn began to panic...

The alicorns knew what they could do, but... they'd need the help of the entirety of their small community. The alicorns and their small town made the greatest sacrifice of them all- as the princesses of destiny entrusted their magic to two fillies; Celestia and Luna. The rest of the town used the rest of their magic to banish Dusk to the stars, turning him into a constellation. However in return, the ponies of Morn, depleted of every ounce of power, turned into stone.

Jump forwards a few thousand years... two earth pony guards by the name of Daybreak and First and Foremost are sent to ponyvile by princess Twilight Sparkle to investigate odd disappearances. Seems the everfree is calling... and as restless spirits awaken the new elements of harmony do too.

OTHER:

•  Most of the locations in ponyvile have changed, since this is a few years after the finale. In this canon most of the mane 6 have moved to Canterlot! Rarity's Boutique has turned into Beanie's thrift store, for example.

• In this AU, ponyvile is now home to creatures from all over equestria, so many of my OCs are not just ponies.
