Aurora is an office worker who moonlights as a notorious arcade rat. She frequents a single location, known only as Triforce, where every cabinet with a score system has the initials ARR - short for Aurora - at the top of the list. Her universal prowess and odd initials has earned her the nickname "Captain" among other regulars, after the sound of her initials sounding like a pirate exclamation.
When she first started frequenting the arcade, she was nearly kicked out for deftly draining the UFO catchers of prizes, only paying for 1 or 2 attempts per prize. After explaining she didn't want to financially hurt her favourite hangout spot, that she only wanted to play games and have fun, management allowed her to stay under the agreement that she would only stick to games that didn't award prizes or tickets. She now single-handedly funds Triforce rather than drain their plushie budget.

- Aurora was originally designed as a GaiaOnline avatar (pictured to the right)
- Both her first and last names come from the names of various Sega arcade hardware. Triforce, the name of the arcade she frequents, is also named after a Sega arcade board.
- ARR, her high-score initials, comes from the subtitle for Final Fantasy XIV, A Realm Reborn
- She was born with perfect eyesight, but required glasses at a young age after playing Gameboy in the dark after bed.
