A fairly young (rabbit) god that lives on the moon. He has several worshippers and attendants. As a god, he blesses his followers with wisdom and good luck in education.
Ming's shrines sell mochi that was pounded by the attendants. They are especially popular during New Years for their kagami mochi.
Unless it is an emergency, Ming never attends gatherings for gods, often sending an attendant in his place.
He occasionally descends to Earth to visit Kan, a fox god. Due to the distance between the earth and the moon, he usually possesses one of his attendants' body to take his form/appearance. Doing so uses up a lot of spiritual energy, so he only does it on clear nights when the moon is most bright. During the autumn and winter, he can descend more easily, but usually as a snow rabbit. He made his attendants set up satellite internet so he can use his smartphone on the moon to chat with Kan. Communicating through meteor showers caused great concern for the humans on Earth, and it was a hassle for Kan to visit one of Ming's shrines every time they wanted to reply. When visiting Kan with a human appearance, he wears the modern outfit Kan picked out for him so that they would not attract attention when hanging out.
