MingHui is a student studying astronomy abroad on Earth. He works part-time wherever needs help and to help pay for living expenses. You may run into him at several different places around town on different days. He wants to go to outer space and see the milky way.
Specter hires MingHui to bail him out of jail and for information regarding cases. MingHui turns a blind eye on Specter's illegal activities as long as he gets paid.
MingHui thinks Ichigo's persistent and unsolicited flirting is kind of annoying. He is also envious of how much free time and financial privilege Ichigo has. He looks down on how Ichigo doesn't take school seriously.
MingHui meets Chihiro at one of the bar he part times at. He helps Chihiro with his homework and hopes that his guardian will stop bringing him to bars. Tutoring him gives him a warm but painful feeling in his chest for some reason.
When they first met, MingHui was drawn into Koutaro's charismatic, happy-go-lucky personality. Due to MingHui's quiet demeanor, he's not very approachable, but despite that, Koutaro kept interacting with MingHui, and MingHui eventually warmed up to him. Koutaro listened to and supported MingHui's passion for astronomy. The two became close friends. He developed a crush on Koutaro but got his heart broken when he found out his love was unrequited. As a result, MingHui would pick up more part-time jobs to avoid Koutaro and to distract himself from his broken heart. He bottles his emotions and kills his feelings by keeping himself busy with work and studying. Due to his broken heart, he's afraid of opening up to anyone else.
Kanbi was MingHui's guest lecturer for one of MingHui's classes. MingHui respects Kanbi's knowledge and is secretly envious of how Kanbi is a prodigy genius. They enjoy talking about science with each other. Kanbi tries to be a wingman for MingHui, but ends up falling for him. Eventually, MingHui develops feelings for Kanbi, and they start to date.
Minty had hired MingHui to work at the ice cream shop but later fired him due to the ceiling damages done by Specs. It wasn't MingHui's fault, so he used the money from Specs' paycheck to pay for the damages.
MingHui knows Dorian is kind of dumb, but he respects how kind and hardworking Dorian is. Dorian's smell doesn't particularly bother him.
