DuneStrike

Dunekit was born to proud warriors Joltedstrike and Antfever. Both cats were far past their younger years, but eager to raise a kit in a growing and healthy clan.

Dunekit, turned Dunepaw, took warrior training seriously. She actively volunteered for most tasks that needed to be done and, when her parents retired to the elders den, she took a special interest in cleaning their bedding and fetching them moss.

During this time as an apprentice, Dunepaw became friends with a newly made apprentice named Aspenpaw. The two of them quickly became close because of their shared beliefs about supporting the clan to their fullest abilities. Dunepaw and Aspenpaw, while both busy, still found time to talk amongst the other and deepen their friendship.

The first time Dunepaw was involved in a border skirmish, it was because of one of her fellow apprentices chased a mole into OakClan territory. Having been caught by a border patrol, Dunepaw as well as the two mentors instigated a fight. Beetlepaw, who had caught the shrew off their territory, was very apologetic to OakClan but the aggressive actions of his clanmates forced a battle.

Having won the battle, the BirchClan cats went home with the won shrew.

It wasn't until many moons later did another fight break out in a border skirmish. Dunepaw, a full grown cat now, attacked OakClan without hesitation. Neither side had won, having been broken apart due to severly wounded cats on both sides, but Dunepaw was proud of her clanmates strength that day. When she went to the medicine cat den, Shimmerpool treated her wounds and chastized her for supporting a senseless fight.
