Profile
Shimmerpool is a caring, knowledgeable cat that has integrity and grace. She is always curious and detests things she can't rationalize. Many of her clanmates describe her as focused, confident, and optimistic.
In private with her mate, Shimmerpool shows her worse sides. She can be irritable and obsessive when stressed by illness, which results in lots of half-sided conversations and unneccesary ire. She only shows these sides because of her deep love and trust in Dunestrike, knowing that her mate would never betray or judge her for her flaws.
Shimmerkit was born into a clan by a mother who fled her life as a loner. Despite her mothers non-clan blood, Shimmerkit was treated like any other clan member and was never asked about or judged over her mother's loner history.
Shimmerkit, now Shimmerpaw, had been trained as a warrior at first but quickly showed promise for the life of a healer. She switched trajectories and begun her Healer training through the clan's primary Medicine Cat, Hawkshiver. Hawkshiver and Shimmerpaw grew close in their many moons together, up until Shimmerpaw was officially named Shimmerpool.
Not many moons after, Hawkshiver had passed on in his sleep peacefully and left Shimmerpool to be the sole healer of BirchClan. She took this role seriously and never wasted a moment, always of service to her clan and even doing duties that weren't specifically for Healers, just to keep the clan protected and healthy.
