Personality and Biography
Team BDRQ's leader. Bolt has had issues with paranoia and anxiety since the death of his parents which has compelled him to train to become a huntsman. He's plagued with insurmountable dread concerning the future and he wants to be prepared. But while training, he develops a genuine desire to help people.

As a leader, he is indecisive and flighty and often makes decisions without the input of his team and as a result, is seen as a weak leader. While the other members of team BDRQ dislike his leadership, he is the only one willing to step up and take the leadership position. He seems very self centered and kind of apathetic but his self centered behavior betrays a deep seated paranoia. He's very impatient and has poor stress management skills which make him prone to lashing out in frustration, a habit which he overcomes in his time with team BDRQ.

Bolt's family owns a repair shop that services cars and other motor vehicles. While his grandmother is the main mechanic, responsible for running the shop, Bolt has a lot of skill and experience with repairing and customizing all sorts of machines.

After the Fall of Beacon, Bolt stays behind in Vale, assisting where ever he can, whether it be helping contain the grimm or doing odd jobs for locals. The Fall of Beacon gives him a feeling of responsibility to his community and he is hesitant to leave them.
Relationships
Bolt's relationships with the members of Team BDRQ vary. His poor leadership leaves a sour taste in everyone's mouths but he does manage to earn the respect of his team and prove himself as a capable leader.

Deckar Redqard
Bolt's most tumultuous relationship is probably with Deckar due to their language barrier. While Deckar acknowledges and respects Bolt's leadership, they rarely speak one-on-one.

Rebecca Robinwyle
Beck is closer to his partner than any other member of Team BDRQ. They bond over shared struggles with anxiety and Beck could be considered BDRQ's second in command considering how much trust Bolt puts in her and having someone to give him feedback and connect with, helps Bolt become a stronger leader. In turn, Bolt helps Beck open up to the rest of their team and aids her in confronting her family.
During the Fall of Beacon, Beck leaves her pendant with Bolt as a show of returning the trust Bolt has placed in her.

Quillan Larker
Similar to Bolt's relationship with Deckar, the lack of connection between him and Quill stems from a barrier in communication. While they are both strong-minded individuals who share goals and values, they never really click with each other.

Spark Cathode
Spark is Bolt's childhood friend, who can often be found hanging around the Silverstone garage. She and Bolt go way back and after Bolt returns to Vale in the wake of the Fall of Beacon, they're basically inseparable.
Semblance: Quicksilver
Bolt's semblance is called "Quicksilver". Bolt has the ability to personally slow down his perception of time, allowing to move at incredible speeds relative to everyone around him.

When he uses it, his eyes turn bright gold. Usage does require a fair amount of focus and he can typically only use his semblance in short adrenaline fueled bursts.

After the fall of Beacon his semblance develops so that he can activate his semblance at will. Additionally, honing his semblance has also heightened his reaction time.
Weapon: Porcupine
A pair of retractable shotgun maces. The ball of the mace can be extended by the coiled chain. Despite being blunt, it's also a very light weapon that doesn't hit very hard. The spines of the balls can be retracted for storage or be used as a blunt weapon or released if they get stuck in an object
