Casadim

Casadim is a very patient and calm creature. He loves to work in solitude; manufacturing and decorating paper, creating salt figures and doing other creative things, but when he goes out to people, he's always the best listener. He wants to help others find and understand themselves, he helps them grow and change and is very supporting.

He's very devoted to his oath and the Lake Spirit and will not tolerate insulting any of those, but overall he's not prone to aggression or even an evil intent. He's the best buddy one can have in this weird, complicated times.

To say that Casadim was troublesome in his youth would be an overstatement, but he was, in fact, a bit problematic. His prolonged 'teenage phase' couse him some trouble later in his life, but he will not talk about it with anyone as Casadim thinks that his times before Lake Spirit - as he puts it - is 'forgiven, forgotten'.

When he was 32 and lost in life some of his past businesses drove him to Feywild, where - by pure coincidence - he met Lake Spirit. It was a very important event in Casadim's life. Etheral creature, made from mist and light, approached him by the lake, where he was resting; looking into his reflection, wondering who he is. He didn't think he has a purpose in life, which made it monotone and meaningless, almost sad. It was triggering for him, as he thought that ater repaying for all his sins he should be happy and carefree but instead he felt emptiness, like he was lost in the universe. The creature drove him into the warm water, told him that there is no purpose in life other than life itself and helped him really see himself. After firbolg came to the surface, he saw his life in different light, thanking the Lake Spirit for help. The creature turned into the light and gently fell down onto the water surface, reaching to the dephts for the hand mirror, which a moment later appeared between all the flickering and gleaming.

The Lake Spirit then asked Casadim if he'd like to help others just as they [the Lake Spirit] have helped him and he agreed. As he's done it, the light stopped blinding him and all he saw in that moment was beauty. The beauty of life, beauty of being himself, beauty of the lake. He took the mirror and came back home, with new mission, new purpose and - surprisingly - new powers. Now, as a paladin of the Lake Spirit, he lives his life and fulfils his promise whenever a chance arisses. He welcomes every traveler, listen to their stories and helps them find what they need, so they can trully see themselves.

He doesn't need much and he loves solitude, he feels comfortable in it. He's a craftsmen, an artist and a free soul - a person that slowly but surely walks through life as one should, taking all the goods and all the bads, connecting with the world and seeing beauty in every moment. Maybe his life will change someday. Maybe - sometime in the future - there will be no travelers comming to him, but instead he will be the traveler visiting the others. Maybe he will have a group of friends, a team - if you will. Maybe some day his quest will get bigger...

But for now... he just *is*. He lives his life and cherish every moment of it.
