Summary

Tansy was the partner Pokemon for the events of Pokemon Legends Arceus. After Arceus, also known as Sherae, had failed to send her trainer home, Tansy took it upon herself to convince them to do so.

Their disagreement quickly turned into an argument, which turned into a fight. Although Tansy held her own against Arceus very well, she ultimately succumbed to her wounds. Impressed by her strength, however, Arceus decided she could be of use, and spared her, allowing her to come back to life as a Ghost type Decidueye, and blessing her. As Arceus wanted Tansy to take care of rogue gods in their universe, her blessing is that whenever she defeats a rogue god or dies, she gets transported to another world to help that one.

However, Tansy was not made aware of her blessing, as Arceus knew she would not willingly obey them now, so as far as she is concerned she is randomly getting transported between worlds, truly unable to die. Her friend, a Giratina nicknamed Rat, can deliberately drag her into certain worlds, but that is an active effort on their part until they find a more permanent solution.
