Sophie

Sophie is a girl holed up in a dusty attic room with only her mind to entertain her. Having been bedridden most of her life, she hasn't talked to anyone outside of her family in years. Sophie is an extremely naive (but not innocent) and inexperienced young woman; though she craves and desperately desires freedom and change, she is nowhere near prepared for it.

She is intelligent, perhaps too much for her own good. She loves arguing and debating and finds joy in philosophy and everything deep and thought-provoking. Because she's smart, she assumes, and because she assumes she often gets her ass handed to her. The world has no choice but to be as she thinks it is. She tends to be a bit smug and dismissive but it's not exactly a conscious act of hers. Despite this, she truly cares about others, especially her family, and would do anything not to make them worry. Her kindness is one of her strongest points.

Enthusiatic, down to earth, with secret idealist dreams and desires; though she's a bit too prideful to let anyone in on them but the walls of her bedroom. She is also a huge, painful hopeless romantic.

She makes a quick friend in what she assumes to be simply a fever hallucination: A tall, dark man in a blue mask. Sophie's had plenty of conversations with her own delusions before, so this should be no different, but as things escalate and the condition of the house worsens, she discovers that things are not as she thought.
