Kithood

Cinderkit was born with her brother Flarekit to the couple, Shimmertalon and Whiteheart. Cinderkit was named for her brown pelt and Flarekit for his light one, and while at first they seemed like a happy family, it quickly turned out not to be.

Shimmertalon and Whiteheart only got together for one thing and on thing alone. To continue on their legacy. While Flarekit never caught onto this, Cinderkit did, and in response she started acting out. She became impulsive, trying to sneak out of camp to get her parents attention. She started talking back to everyone and anyone, just to get some kind of response from her parents.

It never worked though, and soon they were reaching apprenticehood, with Cinderkit showing signs of being an Ember Tracker and Flarekit showing signs of being a Wildfire.

Apprenticehood

Cinderkit became Cinderpaw, and Flarekit became Flarepaw. They were immediately sent to bootcamp together, the only cats there for now. Every other apprentice was 2 moons or older then them, and there wouldn't be another apprentice for another moon. So Cinderpaw and Flarepaw went through boot camp alone, and they decided what they decided their ranks during that time. Cinderpaw would be an Embertracker, and Flarepaw a Wildfire.

Their mentors were both siblings too, named Goldenpelt and Yellowclaw respectively, so they would usually train together when their respective fields allowed it. It became quickly obvious that Cinderpaw was mischevious and still very impulsive. Whenever their mentors would focus on her brother, she would pull small pranks on them. When they caught her, she would deny doing any of it.

As the training continue their parents broke up, and Cinderpaw found she wasn't too upset about it- after all she saw it coming since her kithood. Flarepaw was completely upset though and Cinderpaw was angry that they upset her brother. So late one night, when they were both out on patrol, she snuck into their den and put burrs in their nest, wishing she could do something much worse but knew that she not only would get in trouble and upset her brother, but deep down she still wanted acknowledgement from her parents.

Hearing their surprising and annoyed cries the next morning was still totally worth it.

Later in her training, Goldenpelt took her to the hatchery to choose out her familiar and partner. Looking over the eggs, Cinderpaw felt a pull towards one and declared that this was the one she choose. She took care of it for countless nights, and then finally the little thing hatched into a Inland Taipan. Cinderpaw proceeded to name him Venom.

Embertracker

Finally both Cinderpaw and Flarepaw graduated. Neither of their parents bothered to congradulate them, as they already believed they did their duty by producing them. Cinderpaw earned the name Cinderflame, and Flarepaw Flarefang.

It wasn't enough though.

Well no it was enough for Cinderflame, she was still impulsive, mischevious and tried to talk to everyone around her, but her brother struggled from the lack of acknowledgement from their parents. Cinderflame saw this and it hurt her, her brother was the most important thing to her.

So she decided to get them to acknowledge both her and Flarefang. And the only way she saw that was every going to happen was her and her brother becoming leads, and then general. And she planned to do just that.
