Overview
Kohaku Shimabukuro is considered to be a very smart person, unlike YOU. He is the Ultimate Detective, which means one of two things. He quickly solves any case he comes across, but only high-profile cases are directed towards him. So you can still steal thirty bucks easy.
Personality
He's very flirty and sarcastic, and tends to act to carefree and relaxed most of the time. He has a shining reputation for annoying most people he meets, but he really doesn't care.

Story
Since he was a kid, he was pretty smart, but he was raised with idealistic views of humanity. He liked reading fictional stories where good always prevailed yadadada
Bt since he started solving the murders and thefts in his area, his rose colored lenses were brutally shattered to an extent further than most. The average person has a good grasp of how awful the world and some people in it are, but Kohaku was taken even further than that.
He had to force himself to realize that humanity was disgusting and awful, and that nobody was a "good person", if such a thing ever existed. Still, he wanted to see the best in everybody, so he constantly forced himself to do just that. He knows, however, to drop all hope when crime is involved.
