Aqualu is part of a species called "Kamarekai" a small group that lives in an underwater city near a tropical Beach with a lighthouse. Most of them likes to have fun on the Beach and some have the duty of cleaning it up from time to time, Aqualu being one of them.
Aqualu is the sister of Aquolo (as you can see by the name) She finds her brother's aid very endearing, but does wish he wasn't always over her shoulder in some cases.
She has some sort of fascination with humans, and has an admiration for Drick.
