Edelweiss, previously known as The Ashenwyrm, was a young wyrm who had a fascination with the natural world and especially plantlife, something scarce in the dry wastelands they inhabited.

Personality
History
Edelweiss spent much of their life, mainly their childhood, wandering the expansive world they inhabited, however eventually they chose to settle in the land now known as Emerald Hollow. It was here they cast off their old body and were reborn in their new, more bug-like form. The shell of their past form now makes up much of the cave system beneath the Hollow known as the Whistling Caverns, the pale "ash" slowly moulting off their carapace covering vast portions of the landscape. The extreme lushness and large amounts of greenery in the Emerald Hollow wouldn't be possible without Weiss's influence as it was through their power this subterranean jungle came to be. Edelweiss was sadly killed during a battle over the territory, not long after establishing it themselves.
