“ Why try to change a world that is so fundamentally broken? „

Aquamarina is a woman born to become nothing but a common, peasant mermaid. Her luscious watery hair, golden freckled scales and rich golden jewelry speak nothing of her status - instead they only solidify the idea that she lives like any other mermaid; being a petty thief, seducing sailors to steal their cargo and possibly even looting old shipwrecks. 

She isn't interested in changing the systems their culture and world runs by. She believes what they have is so fundamentally broken and useless, that every effort to repair it would be in vain. When it comes to rules, she belives that the only way to live in a society where the system wouldn't be corrupted and eventually turned bad would be to start a society of her own. She isn't motivated enough to do that though, so she chooses to live as a hermit. 

Her nature isn't that of a lonely hermit though; she can be quite amicable, curious and enchanting - social, even! Her natural state is very calm, pleasant and her aura radiates love and peace. She's hard to irritate, but easy to amuse. She finds humans very intriguing, especially their legs, thighs and hips. She's very into all kinds of machinery and mechanical toys; bring her a mechanical jumping duck and she'll be entertained for hours. 

Calm and peaceful Aquamarina usually comes off as passive; her words and movements are in no way aggressive, her energy overall flowy and chill. Her energy would remind one of the last minutes of a sunset; the purple sky begins to turn royal blue, light beginning to fade away into the horizon while the golden clouds float away with grace. Her speaking voice is soft and distant, like an echo from far away. When she speaks, se she speaks with a lot of thought. Every sentence takes its sweet time,  but what comes out is whell thought out and elaborate. One would even call her wise and knowledgeable. 

She is emotional by nature, reacting to things with a lot of power. Her feelings of sorrow and despair are intense, but so are the feelings of joy and happiness she feels. She feels not only for herself, but for others aswell. She might be able to turn off her empathy when she seduces sailors to steal their goods, but she truly is an empathetic person; some might call her an empath. She feels for the people who wrong her - she isn't quick to jump into an angry fit, but prefers to talk things out peacefully and forgives easily. She believes in telling the truth, but she also thinks it's important to not hurt others' feelings on purpose. She might come off as little naive when it comes to this, but she does it out of the goodness of her heart. 

Aquamarina is extremely romantic and views love as something almost idealistic. In her world, everyone is just so wonderful - potential mates everywhere! Nobody is a bad person! She loves the idea of love, but in reality she finds it hard to put into practice. She gets short-time crushes easily, but they usually fade overtime because of her lack of committment. Her endless curiosity gives her a child-like energy when she's excited and she isn't hard to please when she's in that state; toys and all kinds of aparatuses should do the trick.

She is fairly short at 4"9, built very feminine and slim, yet optimal for swimming. Her body is both skin and scales, mostly on her head and torso. Her hair and tail have a peculiar water texture to them. Her skin is white but tanned, her scales range from golden to greenish gray/brown and form freckle-like spots on her skin. Her areolas are heart shaped. 

Her overall appearance is quite fairytale esque, and it isn't very typical for the common mermaid. She likes her appearance very much, and likes to decorate herself with various pearls, gemstones, jewelry, armguards, necklaces... Whatever she can find from the bottom of the sea. She never wears covering clothes, and prefers her naked, most natural state. She doesn't feel strongly about people looking at her naked or touching her - she likes it and enjoys the contact.

• Aquamarina is very intrigued by humans. Unlike her peers and family, she thinks that humans have some interesting qualities. She is especially fascinated by legs, thighs and hips.

• She loves childrens' toys, especially mechanical ones and ballerina boxes. She finds them intriguing.

• Aquamarina doesn't see herself as a mermaid. She believes herself to be so different from her peers, that she thinks she might be a half-human, altough that's not true. She's looking for a way to give herself a human form to transform into so she could roam on land

• She absolutely will not touch any kind of weapons, be it a gun, a knife or a sword. She is a pacifist to the core.

• Tends to crush on people easily and quickly, but the feelings fade as fast as they appear. She's never been in a relationship, but has had sexual encounters and romantic moments with both mermaids and people.
