This is a version of Casey where, when dying during the initial wither skeleton encounter, Casey respawned as a result of having lifemarks. Lottie, however, did not. The prolonged withering still affected Casey, and the soul stitching ritual was conducted with an injured crow; its albinism made it an easy target for predators.
