Begining

His existence splits off from the same point that Ambrosia came into existence. He was never kidnapped by FOWL, his parents talking about their time in SHUSH is what encouraged himself to study and push himself to become an Agent. The agency never shut down, never believed themselves to have truly taken down FOWL so wouldn’t put themselves into retirement, correctly believing they were still needed.
Alador would take every job they offered him, first hired as a cleaner while he was only just 15 and desperate for them to see him and what he can do. It didn’t take them long to rise through the ranks doing this, alongside all of the studying he was doing, both using SHUSH files but also from things he picked up on other agents talking about. His parentage definitely helped, but SHUSH also greatly respected how much work the duck put in himself to get it all done, the way he wouldn’t tell others about it.

Drifting away

Agent Leaf is now a highly respected agent of the agency, but it’s beginning to wear on him. He's in his 30’s and won’t retire from active duty, he doesn’t mind paperwork but considering that as his only job bores and frightens him, it dislikes the idea of just teaching the next generation of agents into SHUSH’s ways. He doesn’t mind the occasional student he’s given to train, remembering how he was once like them, wide eyed and in love with it all, if anything it makes it really sink in how his age is coming up faster than it should be; but he’d never want to spend all day everyday with this, and tearing those down that need it for their own sakes. SHUSH wants him to slow down, if he’s honest so does his body but Alador doesn’t.
He wants that excitement back that he once had as a young agent, and he’s not so sure how far he’s willing to push himself to get that feeling.

Escape

It all changed when Alador found himself able to actually interact with the Fearsome Four and he did not have to act as an Agent.
What was meant to be a short-term undercover mission to try and reform the villains, turned into a genuine affection he felt for them and his own morals and opinions shifting. He was enjoying himself for the first time in a very long time, and it was addictive. Finding himself more and more drawn to spending time with the villains, being pulled into their group, he should have been drowning but rather he found he was truly living for the first time. He never stopped working with SHUSH during this time, afraid to take that final leap.
It's world axis turned again when he first met Negaduck; the duck finding himself pulled in and addictive. Not aided by the instant attraction to his looks, it soon discovered the other duck was surprisingly charming in his own way.
How many times can he get away with kissing the other duck?
How many is too many to claim he's still acting a character?
