Falcon'Breeze

The truth always come out | Falcon is a brazilian RPG character from Warrior Cats, brother of FeatherWhisper and born in another clan. He is a gray, striped cat, with heterochromic green eyes, a sneaky body and honest nature. He takes rules and codes seriously, he's the introverted type; even afraid he puts his paw on the fire for his family and is emotionally dependent.
He was adapted/added at certain points in the new story, originally belonging to WindClan and going a different way.

Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself
Personality

Falcon suffers from anxiety disorder and panic disorder. He deals with it the best way he can.

Falcon is honest, but distant. He constantly isolates himself and does not allow them to approach him easily, he closes himself more and more with time until he becomes what they would call a ghost; with those he loves, he is not afraid to risk his life to defend or sacrifice. He had great respect for traditions, history, and past and enjoyed spending time talking to his sister, believed in fraternal ties beyond the physical body, and connected to the soul because of her. He was once naive, and manipulable, but his heart remained good and loyal despite the time, and age not much different from when young.
He was once a faithful follower of law and tradition and defended the code as he had been taught, but things became so distorted that Falco no longer belongs to himself. His layers have increased over time, his feelings have begun to become more confused to understand and he is lost, not belonging anywhere in the forest nor his own body. He remains silent, closed and distant, something that has worsened over time, does not let new faces enter his heart and is locked in his own mind.

SUMMARY

Childhood

Falcon spent his entire life at Jaguari (WindClan) learning their customs, beliefs, developing family and life. Since he was a little boy, this cat remembers seeing the shadows of a white cat, which he later discovered was WhiteAmber, his mother.

Since childhood, Falcon has suffered from panic attacks, which ended up disrupting his life and exhausting him. Feather has always been his anchor, who saves him from drowning, who brings him back to reality, he has always depended on her emotionally. Very soon he was exhausted from these crises, and this ended up making him desperate for control of things around him since he did not have control over his own body and mind, also not belonging to himself.

Nowadays

After finding out that his sister wanted to be in the other tribe/clan, Falco lost his mind and ended up, unintentionally, expelling her from her adopted home, bitterly regretting what he did. He misses her a lot, he doesn't have the courage to talk to her, and he wishes things were different, that were like before. He is developing a relationship with his biological father, and continues his duties as a warrior.

FeatherWhisper

siblings

The siblings used to be inseparable, they were a part of each other. He does regret the things he said and done, often grieving the childhood they had and hopes to tie bonds back with his little sister. Falconbreeze and Featherwhisper exchange meaningful glances at gatherings, but he don't know how to start. He misses her more than anything in his life.

SerpentSoul

Foster Mother (WindClan version only)

His mom has always been a safe place of comfort, a heart of gold, a kindness beyond this earth. Serpent was his home and her family alongside Feather at WindClan, a guide, a tutor, an anchor, a mother. Although he loves SerpentSoul, Falcon sometimes finds himself thinking about what WhiteAmber was like, or what she could have been.

NightLily

Foster Mother (arani version only)

Falco always saw her as a mother, despite the lack of confidence and truth, felt a lot of comfort and home. He does not know if he has the desire to resume his relationship with her, feels a certain anguish in his throat towards her, but never ceased to love or feel comfortable with her.

EagleFlight

Father

After many moons of curiosity about him, Falco slowly began to build a father-son relationship with Eagle, spending time together and learning about his past, laughing, crying, hunting. Despite the family bond with him, he doesn't have the heart to start a conversation with his sister.

WhiteAmber

Mother

He has few memories of her, but remembers when he and her sister were still very small newborns/kits and the tenderness that Amber showed. He wishes he could have known her better, loved her more for the warrior and cat she was. She had two black ribbons in each ear, that she gave to Featherkit and Falconkit; they never took it off.

NectarStream

Mentor (arani version only)

NectarStream was a skilled and reliable mentor although she sometimes skipped training and Falconpaw trained on his own, learning independence and turning around. Anyway, he admires and respects Nectar’s warrior career and respects her from the heart.

VanillaSun

"Friend" (arani version only)

Vanilla and Falcon did not really have a great contact, but she was the one he had closest to being considered a friend, and she considers, care and fears for him no matter how far he has become. Falco has a huge respect for that med-cat and admires her even though he exchanges few words when going to the med-Cats den.

CharcoalTiger

brother-in-law

Falco doesn't like Charcoal, he thinks he's rude and discourteous. Seeing his sister with Charcoal gives him reflux, but he's learned to just accept it and let things flow. Maybe one day they can have a relationship.

Falco was never that close to Dawn, but he has a lot of respect his warrior career, despite don't have much affection nor relation. He was the only father figure he had in many moons.

There’s nothing left to belong, even myself

Afinal (After all) Poem by Álvaro de Campos, persona of Fernando pessoa

After all, the best way to travel is to feel.
To feel everything in every way.
To feel everything excessively
Because all things are, in truth, excessive
And all reality is an excess, a violence,
An extremely vivid hallucination
That we all live in common with the fury of the souls,
The center to which tend the strange centrifugal forces
That are human psyches in their harmony of senses.

The more I feel, the more I feel like many people,
The more personality I have,
The more intensely, stridently I have them,
The more simultaneously to feel with all of them,
The more unified diverse, sparsely attentive,
Are, feel, live, be,
Longer I'll get the total existence of the universe,
More complete I'll be by the entire space outside.
More analogous to God I will be, whoever could he be,
Because, whoever could he be, surely is Everything,
And outside Him there's only Him, and All for him is little (less).

Every soul is a ladder to God,
Every soul is a corridor-Universe to God,
Every soul is a river running through the margins of External
For God and in God with a grim whisper.

Sursum corda! Lift up your souls! All Matter is Spirit,

Because Matter and Spirit are just confusing names
Data to the large shadow that soaks the Exterior into dreams
And fuze in Night and Mystery the Excessive Universe!
Sursum corda! In night I wake, the silence is great,
Things, with crossed arms on their chest, observe

With a noble sadness to my open eyes
Which sees them as vague nocturnal shapes in the black night.
Sursum corda! I wake in the night and feel different.
All the World with its visible form of custom (as usual)
Lying at the bottom of a well and makes a confused noise,

I hear it, and in my heart a great stupefaction sobs.

Sursum corda! O Earth, hanging garden, home
That soothes the scattered soul of successive humanity!
Mother green and flowered all recent years,
Every year, vernal, summer, autumn, hiemalis
Every year celebrating with handfuls the festival of Adonis
In a ritual before all the meanings,
In a large cult in turmoil over the mountains and valleys!
Great heart beating in the nude chest of volcanoes,
Great voice awakening on cataracts and seas,
Great drunken bacchante of the Movement for Change,
In the heat of vegetation and florescence breaking
Your own body of sand and rocks, your submissive body
Your own will unsettled and eternal!
Lovely and unanimous mother of the winds, seas, meadows,
Vertiginous mother of gales and cyclones,
Capricious mother who makes vegetate and dry
That disturbs the stations themselves and confuses
In a immaterial kiss the suns and the rains and the winds!

Sursum corda! Repair for you and all I is a hiymn!
Everything in me as a satellite of your dynamic intimate Returning snaking, standing as one ring
Foggy, of reminesced sensations and vague,
Around to your internal figure, turgid and fervent.
Deals with all your strength and with all thy power hot
My open heart to you!
Like a sword piercing my being lifted and ecstatic,
Intersects with my blood, with my skin and my nerves,
Your continuous movement, contiguous to yourself always,

I'm a lot of confused forces full of infinite
Tending in all directions in all sides of space,
Life, this huge thing, is that holds everything and everything unites
And makes that all the forces that rage inside of me
Do not pass me, neither break my being, not part my body,
Do not toss me, like a bomb of Spirit that crashes
In flesh and blood and soul spiritualized to among the stars,
Beyond the suns of other systems and remote stars.

All that's inside of me tends to be re-everything.
All that's inside of me tends to dump me on the floor,
In the supreme vast ground that is not upon neither below
But under the stars and suns, under the souls and bodies
For an oblique possession of our intellectuals senses.

I am a flame ascending, but ascending up and down,
Ascending to all sides at the same time, I'm a globe
Of explosives flames searching of God and burning
The crust of my senses, the wall of my logic,
My limiting and cold intelligence.

I'm a huge machine driven by large belts
That I see only the part that gets on my drums,
The rest goes beyond the stars, goes through the suns,
And never seems to get to the drum that where it left...

My body is a center of a volant estupendous and infinite
Always agoing vertiginously around himself,
Crossing in all directions with other volants,
Which interpenetrate and mix, because it is not in the space
But /not knowing space / in another way God.

Inside me are locked and tied to the ground
All the movements that make up the universe,
The thorough fury and of the atoms,
The fury of all flames, the rage of all winds,
The furious foam of all rivers, that rushes,

The rain with stones thrown from catapults
Of huge armies of dwarfs hidden in the sky.

I am a formidable dynamism obliged to the balance
To remain inside my body, to not overflow of my soul.
Roars, bursts, wins, cracks, rumbles, shakes,
Quivers, trembles, foam, blows, violates, explodes,
Lose yourself, transcend yourself, circle yourself, live yourself, disrupt and flee,
Be with my whole body all the universe and life,
Burns with all my being all lights and lamps,
Scratch with all my soul all the lightning and fires,
Survives me in my life in all directions!

I’m a confused lot of forces full of infinity

In this version of the story, Falcon is written by me in the RPG, having more depth, development and complexity than in the original, because in the original, the protagonist is Feather and him, a side character.

After the riot of the Innconfidants explained in the story of OtterTreacle(Melaço de Ariranha) and Suçuarana, Nightlily and her brother were adopted by WhiteAmber, grew up in her guardianship and was fatidically murdered by Lily; their kits were taken from her clan by her killer. Lily regretted it from the moment she found out to be Whiteamber, but kept a secret the truth by moons.

Taken out of the Arani, Falconkit and featherkit along with their "Mother" Nightlily, were greeted by the Jaguari pack, rivals of the Arani pack, growing up under Lily’s guardianship. They grew normally with the other cats. From an early age, Falco knew that he was not equal to the others, for he often had the feeling that his heart would leap out of his chest, sudden episodes of intense fear or anxiety, and physical symptoms based on an imaginary threat, with no imminent danger. His sister, Feathers, always helped him get back into the body, stabilize and calm him down; this generated an unprecedented emotional dependence on him and he developed an unhealthy feeling by being near her as his safe haven. With the pass of the moons and time, he learned to lead better with everything, but he was always very dependent, eventually developing a small obsession with control because he had no control of his own body; he was trying to compensate for the lack. He also trusted his sister more than the supposed "own mother". Falco had memories of a white cat later revealed Whiteamber, and his confidence in NightLily was not as total as that of feathers, he knew she lied and that something was wrong, but never contested.

As they grew up, Falco was closing more and more to the world, open only with Feathers, Lily and nectarstream for being his mentor, who he would later move away from her as well. The apprentice was always skeptical of others and their intentions, his trust was only blind to Feathers and the warriors code. When he realized that his sister was lefting the camp every day and returned at night, Falco wondered at her improvement in many skills, because her mentor had recently passed away, but especially the distance and distrust she was taking from him. At this time his concern and zeal for the code was at its peak, and he had suspicions about Feathers.

As time passed things calmed down, but one day supposed to be normal it became chaos when Featherpaw came to inform that the Arani would attack demanding the kits return, and ended up expelled from the group by resentment and distrust that Dawnstar had; He cared more for the cats present there than to have a traitor or even threat at his door than to keep the apprentice, and also thought that she was lying. Falco had gone hunting and when he arrived at the camp he came across the scene of Dawn threatening her sister and didn't have fear to not get in the middle and ask what was happening. Seeing his sister run away while crying, he looked at the leader with suspicion, a certain aversion but above all demanding an explanation by the eyes; he did not stay to find out, then went after the little crying cat crossing the forest.

Already at the border, if he saw a cat beyond humiliated, expelled and exposed, and he seeing his only friend, sister and family leaving, he felt left behind and desperate with the change, tried to convince her to return. He could fix it and things would be like before but no, feathers had a place to return to; he no longer belonged anywhere and with the mixture of feelings accumulated by moons overflowing in the heart of Falcon, he felt changed, betrayed and abandoned by the only one he trusted, also feeling a little jealous and even envious of what she was about to build and the true family and home she would receive. He ended up being impulsive and expelling her from his life, in an attempt to get away and not feel so he wouldn’t get hurt. "If you want to be an Arani, fine, I’ll treat you like one. Return to your territory, snake, come back and do not step on these lands ever again, go away and do not look back" your last audible words to the sister burned his body, burned her eyes. "I love you, Feathers. You burn in my heart and hurt me, but also warm me... like fire." The last words of a broken heart; Falcon disappeared in the woods for subsequent days, returning to jaguari camp full of preys and food, with a horrible appearance and injuries, as he hunted tirelessly, one prey after another. VanillaSun questioned his situation while treating him, worried, and he said nothing. The same goes for Nectarstream, who asked worried, and he, grief.

The only one left in Jaguari was Lily, now being the only "support" he has, in a way. He pushed away NectrarStream, his mentor, and VanillaSun, med-cat of the group and the only friend he had, also for fear of feeling abandoned again; he doesn't look for more friends for the idea of being left behind again, afraid. His life became monotonous, stopped without purpose, without a career to wish. He just hunts tirelessly and sleeps, trying to occupy his mind with routine, impressively easing his panic and anxiety crises although he still has them from time to time.

Recently observing the border, he had an encounter with his real father, EagleFlight, who put certain ideas in his head, but his sense of duty, Honor and debt arrest him in jaguari and he hunts and defends the territory tirelessly in the hope of feeling with the debt of shelter and reception throughout his life, paid off. He no longer knows what to do, for one to go or nde his heart must be; Falcon is lost in himself, with no way out, in a labyrinth and can only hear the light breeze beat and echo in his ears, burning for not belonging.

Original/First story

originally written by ackaryuu from Featherwhisper's point of view and main character. This is a tribute to my dear friend.

Falconpaw grew up well, with friends and family and doing very well as an apprentice and runner in the Wind Clan, but Feather had only his brother and mother there, never having felt belonging. Following the frustration, one day she found a Thunderclan warrior venturing across the border and began training with her later discovered father, EagleFlight and his cocky apprentice, CharcoalPaw. As the moons passed, she trained and got better. Meanwhile Falconpaw had no problems, always felt at home with his clan.

It was an angst and freezing night when Whiteamber was stricked by two rogue cats looking for trouble. Alone in her den, caring for her newborn, Amber did not resist, and her kits were taken. Thunderclan took the incident as a fox attack, while the two rogue cats had left Featherkit and Falconkit at the mercy of Windclan, in hopes of causing conflict between the two clans. Serpentsoul was the one to find the helpless kittens at the meadow, also the one to claim them as her own.

As they are raised to be Windclan warriors, Featherpaw realises she does not belong. Even though she was much loved by Serpentsoul in her kitten days she would still feel out of place, and as an apprentice she was constantly neglected by her mentors and alienated from patrols. Even so, Falconpaw didn't seem as unsetisfied as his sister. As her frustration grew bigger, she went to explore and hunt in the boarders by herself, being spotted by an inevitable intervention of her irresponsible acting by a Thunderclan warrior. The strange cat let her go without a fight, and would make another appereance in her routine days, claiming her hunting skills to be delayed for her age, and eventually offering to train her as his own apprentice. Featherpaw used to be very sketchy of the Thunderclan warrior named Eagleflight, but she coudn't seem to decline his offer. She was very surprised when he brought along his actual aprrentice, Tigerpaw, to acompany them in their training sessions. She was not so fond of her classmate, for he was too bitter, too rude, and was so obviously not happy about Eagerflight's decision to mentor a cat from another clan, and even worse, to keep it a secret. Anyway, they would train in the far lands of the Thunderclan territory; Tigerpaw would always take it too far, treating it as a competition and attetion-seeking from his mentor, who would start delaying his own learning in order to improve Featherpaw's. As she was getting more resilient by the days and reaching her classmate skill level, her brother started to suspect her outings alone, for she would come back quite worn out and smelling so weird. Featherpaw chose not to share her experiences with the two Thunderclan cats, for she thought it would compromise their reputation in case it got leaked, so she just brushed it off. Falconpaw was not very pleased, but he woudn't make a fuss out of it.

Even though Featherpaw showed great improvement, her relationship with her clan was not getting better whatsoever. Instead of insisting to take part in their activities, now she would try to stay out of their way, and compply with their requests at risk. Her training sessions with Eagleflight were less often, now that she could do pretty much everything on her on. Around the same time, Tigerpaw had earned his warrior title, and it was a very dry season for every clan, with low prey to hunt, they were in need to find ways to sustain their hungry comrades. Wandering around the meadow, Featherpaw was surprised by Charcoaltiger, far into Windclan's territory, he would claim that Thunderclan were planning to attack that same night and fight for the territory. He claimed to be worried about their safety, and thought to warn her about the situation. Terrified, Featherpaw rushed back to camp to alarm her clanmates about the attack, and surprysingly, they quickly orginized their warriors for battle. For once, Feather was satisfied that they listend to her. However, there were no Thunderclan cat by the time they got there, and the incident was nothing more than a hoax made by charcoaltiger. Featherpaw was very ashamed, to have trusted such a vulgar excuse for a cat, she was put in a very embarassing position. The clan accused her of being wrong and immature, even worse, of a liar. As the clan returned home, grumpy for being alarmed at such a time of the night for nothing, Feather searched in the crowd for her brother for support, only to be met by one very dissapointed look in his face; he was worried about her, being acting so strange lately, he felt very distanced from her.

Not very long after, at a gathering, the Thunderclan leader was quite uneasy. As soon as every clan made itself present, he begin to retell what has happend to one of their queens, Whiteamber, many moons ago. The story made everyone uneasy, and even more after he had acused the Windclan of killing the queen and stealing her kits, Feather and Falcon. The both of them were taken aback, and Serpentsoul was the one to admit to having found them by the meadow, but that she would have never commited such crimes. She was very sorry for the kittens she had loved their entire lives, but there were no space to hide the truth anymore. Thunderclan's leader asked them to settle down, for the cats below were very irritated with the news, and then offered a reasoning deal for the situation; Windclan would have to hand over the aprenticces in order to keep the peace. Their leader refused, for the siblings had enough mind of their own to decide where they wanted to stay. The both of them then had to decide by the next full moon.

Featherpaw found herself much conflicted; although she felt out of place in Windclan, she didn't really knew anything but the clan she was raised in, and she didn't want to leave her mother and brother. Even so, the offer was much tempting, to start over in a clan she had a lot of respect for because of Eagleflight, who was really her father. She wondered how long did he knew that. For Falconpaw, on the other hand, there were nothing to discuss nor decide, they have been raised and trained in Windclan their whole lives, and there was noway he was going to give it all up for an clan he was not a part of. Days after, Featherpaw woke up to find out her brother was having a warrior cerimony without her, she figured it would be an attempt to oficialize his staying at the clan. She ran from the camp, and her brother followed after. They discussed at the evening night, and Falcon was not happy with Feather's unloyalty towards her clan, her family and friends. Featherpaw tried to reason with him, but of no use, Falconbreeze was very overwhelmed and threatend to attack her, for if she was a Thunderclan cat, she was trespassing the Windclan's territory. Featherpaw ran away, blinded by her own tears, she tripped at a dead branch and landed back into the Thunderclan's territory. Her father found her not long after, along with a patrol, they escorted her to camp for medical attetion. Featherpaw was still unsure about joining her birth clan, her brother's words has gotten into her mind, and she was very anxious. But not for long, Thunderclan welcoming was much warming and embracing, it felt like if she had been away for a trip and came back to her lovely family. Despite Charcoaltiger's common rough attitude, she felt very content very fast at the clan, even if she would miss Falconbreeze and Serpentsoul from time to time.

From what Falconbreeze heard, she was welcomed with an open heart into the other clan, not that he wasn’t happy for her, but he doesn’t understand why she left him, their mother and the windclan. In the gatherings, they exchange significant glances, but do not know how to start, where to stop, or whether to.
