ABOUT
"are you done? i'm already sleepy."
cynder is just about the biggest brat you can imagine. when she's not spending her time holing up in her hideout, she's bothering her companions in the most heinous ways she can think of. she's sarcastic and enjoys riling up her friends, pranking them mischievously or simply poking fun at them. cynder's known to most as lazy, often sleeping in her hideout or in various areas of her companion's spaces in her dragon form.
rather than go out herself she prefers to just watch venus' adventures through the observation enchantment she placed on them. or, that is until she grew pretty fond of the little group and decided to staart going out with them. she's still known to be a bit lazy, letting everyone else lead and take the bulk of the work, but she's grown to be much more likable and even a bit brave.

- her wings can disappear and become tattoos on her back
- her eyes usually stay closed unless she's using her abilities
- her hair reaches down to a bit below her butt to the base of her tail
- her magic is purple like her crystal ball
BACKGROUND
CHILDHOOD
cynder was born in the end where she spent most of her life alone and sheltered. she had only the company of enderman and shulkers, and the occassional entertainment from someone trying to slay the mother dragon. she didn't have much contact from her mother, and remained fairly unscocialized unless adventerers who braved the end would try to speak with her. she almost wished for a day when someone would succeed in slaying the mother dragon.
ADOLESCENCE
at some point she grew too bored of the end and the books she would read over and over and practicing her magic all the time. so she left the end one day to wander the nether where she was quite feared by the monsters, at least until she found a portal and ended up in a cave underneath a village. when she emerged, the villagers were enamored by her and intrigued as to how she was so draconic. cynder was taken aback, but enjoyed the awe and attention so she learned how to take advantage of that and exaggerate her life story for their entertainment.
ADULTHOOD
cynder quickly learned how to take advantage of her odd appearance and the villagers, and began scamming them in their trades. this would only work so many times, so as soon as the townspeople would try to run her out, she would skip town and go onto the next where she repeated the process. that was, until she met venus, the unfortunate adventerer that seemed to grab cynder's attention and was her poor victim that she latched onto and leeched off of. she soon met the others in the group, and had to learn how to properly socialize with people she wanted to be friends with.
RELATIONSHIPS
cynder's best friend and the one who lead her into this life. likes seeing through their eyes and is always narrating in their head, thinks they're fun and cares for them quite a bit. likes to help them with any sort of mischief they get up to.
mostly just cynder trying really hard to get close to them but not having any social skills so she ends up concerning kestin. is very interested in them and sees them as the only one on par with herself due to their lizard features.
similaly to kestin, mocha ends up being unsettled by cynder's conversation attempts and compliments. while she likes messing with them, she secretly wishes mocha would treat her like they treat the rest of their companions..

TRIVIA
- cynder's crystal ball is allegedly fortune telling... but in reality, it can only predict up to 20 minutes and it's primary function is to see through venus' eyes.
- cynder has a dragon form but it is very very small. while she's capable of enlarging herself, doing so quickly burns through her energy and magic reserves.
- cynder uses various creatures to be her eyes and ears, much like the enchantment placed on venus. her favorite creatures to utilize are phantoms though it's a challenge.
- prior to latching onto venus and the group as her entertainment, she'd travel around to various villages scamming them and spreading false gospel.
