History
When Ash was just 2 years old, his father was killed in action, it was at this time that his mother decided to turn into a psycho bitch, she'd force her sons to partake in the most rediculous "preperation" for the day one of them would take the throne. After 2 years of torture his older brother, who was 9 at the time decided he couldn't take it anymore and ran away, rather than search for her elder son the queen decided to strike him from all records and focus all of her energy and time on her younger son. Ash, being 4 at the time, no longer remembers that he ever even had a brother, and his mother never had any intention of reminding him.
At the age of just 7 years old it was decided that he would grow up to marry the Princess of the neighbouring kingdom, Princess Lillian, he was never keen on the idea of marrying a girl, and when he turned 12, he realised why. Ash was still being forced to marry Princess Lillian, even after explaining his situation to his mother at the age of 15. after he had explained everything to his mother his life had gotten so much worse, his mother seemed to get even pushier and bossier, it was at this point that his life seemed almost unbearable to him, he longed for the day he could run away and leave it all behind, then one day, while out for a walk he met a red fire elemental boy named Ember, the two became good friends, Ash told him all about his mother, and how he thought about running away, and Ember offered to help him, together they built a little house for him not too far away from Ember's. now he lives alone, far away from his mother, far away from the kingdom he hated so much, he was finally happy to call a place home.

[ Brother ] Igneous ran away at a young age so Ash has no memory of him, and although Safira knew this she never had any intention of telling Ash about his lost older brother
Lillian
[ Friend ] Lillian and Ash have been friends for as long as either of them can remember, their mothers were friends since they were children, so Ash ended up spending a lot of time with Lily, they pretty much grew up together, he sees her as a little sister.
Nomi
[ Friend ] On a day like any other, Ash went to visit his friend Lillian, when he saw her, he noticed a strange boy he'd never seen before standing beside her, so he went over to investigate. Lily told him that the boy's name was Nomi and that he was her new friend, so naturally Ash became intrigued, he wanted to get to know this new person, find out why Lily was hanging out with him, and from there it didn't take long before they became good friends, the three became the three amigos, some people would even wonder where the other two where if they ever saw one of them on their own.
Ember
[ Friend ] Ash met Ember on one of his excursions outside of his kingdom, they became pretty good friends so Ash told him about his situation. Ember offered to help, so they worked together and made a little cabin in the woods so that Ash could have a place to run away to.
