Appearance:

Aime is a tall tiefling woman with a lean, athletic build. She has pale, off white skin that has black staining on her fingertips/hands and her right cheek. She has long, very curly blue hair that is very soft to the touch. Her main clothing is a bard uniform set She discovered during her time in the Tomb of Annihilation.

She recently lost her left arm in combat, just below the shoulder. However, she has since recieved a prosthetic. This magical prosthetic is grafted to her arm. The metal is a cool silver with faint, delicate etchings. There are places where the metal does not meet and is instead held together by magical energy, giving the arm a hollow look inside. Inside the empty, magical space are the shards of her now broken sword.

Design Notes:

- There is no current canon design for her prosthetic yet

- her prosthetic is usually covered with her clothing, but the light sometimes shines through.

- At the start of her story she had a characteristic where she couldn't stop crying, or would start crying uncontrollably. It didn't matter what her active emotional state was, she could cry smiling or deadpan. If she was actually sad she would sob and emote as such. This condition has lessened over time, and she can smile much more freely now

- On that note, she has a strong willed and determined personality. She trained long and hard to be the knight she always wanted to be and holds the safety and care of others to a high degree. She is the moral compass of her group. However, when relaxed and happy she has a very bright and almost niave demeanor. She was a city girl that enjoyed going out with friends, dancing in her kitchen to fantasy Ed Sheeran, and enjoying herself when she could.

- Her primary outfit is customizable, armor can be added or removed as she pleases and the colored portions can be easily adjusted to do a new colour

- Other outfits she would likely be seen wearing: Oversized sweaters with leggings or skinny jeans, short summer dresses, bikini with lots of straps (swimwear), and her preferred formal attire is a sleek and flowing dress.

- currently, if her torso was to be exposed there is a massive wound on her chest that can't heal and the skin around it is cracked like stone. This is visible through to her back as well

- She has an upcoming design change we're her palette switches to Red and her skin no longer has the black staining. Instead her skin cracks like broken stone or chitin. Her horns will also change to white and become more jagged.

- one of her eyes has the seal of Stolas in it, as they befriended this devil and he in turn saved her in exchange for a deal

- A major source of inspiration for her and her backstory is The Knight of Despair from Lobotomy Corporation/Library of Ruina. While there's been deviations from this source to make her her own character, there's a lot of similar design notes

---

Other notes:

- She has two partners: a half elf noble named Erosed (purple haired one in art refs) and an Elf Assassin named Biscotti (white haired elf). As of recent events they are all now married

- she has a Worg named Tiramisu, as she is now a Knight her whole group got Worg steeds

---

SILLY DETAILS
- she's a bad driver
- She loves blueberries
- her fave music is fantasy Ed Sheeran and fantasy Post Malone
- her typical casual clothing is oversized knit sweaters and leggings
- she's that bitch that gets overpriced overcomplicated Frappuccinos at Fantasy Starbucks
- she gets scared from horror movies easily
- If she had a pokemon team: PENDING

BACKSTORY

Aime was formerly a human woman who, along with her sisters, vowed at a young age to become like the knights and heroes of the past in order to help people and be heroes themselves. The world has begun shifting from magic and pulling away from "old ways of living" to embrace technology. However, under the surface it has become a dystopic society where it's not uncommon for people to disappear if they speak out against wrongdoings.

Her and her sisters all took different paths in the same city. One took odd jobs like a regulated mercenary, another became a judge and another worked with charities. Aime joined the police/military academy as it was the closest knight-like path she could take.

First her sister that worked with charities passed away. Her death was ruled an overdose, but the circumstances were suspicious. Finding her and her squad being cruel regarding the nature of her death lead to the first black, veiny marks appearing on her hand.

Then her sister who became a judge allowed a horrific crime to go unpunished because the perpetrator had the money and resources to sway the verdict. When confronted, her sister admonished Aime for being childish and that "we don't help people, we keep people in line." The next set of marks began to appear, and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't wash them off.

Last she found her remaining sister, gasoline and matches in one hand and a fire survivor in the other. With not enough people to save, she began causing crimes in order to save people from them. When confronting her, Aime was met with a slap across the face and the words "you're not a hero, none of us are. Nothing you have ever done has mattered. I wish we never made that stupid promise." The last mark began to form where her sisters hand struck her cheek.

As her squad moved around her, jeering at her former sister and at Aime herself for standing frozen, she began to cry. Everything around her was breaking and it all felt like it was crashing down.

"I make this promise to myself, a vow I will uphold until I die. I will right the wrongs I have seen here. I will avenge those that have been wronged and mistreated. I will uphold my values of a hero, and I will avenge the memories of my dead sisters."

She has no memory of when the transformation occurred, nor does she remember slaughtering her squad in a blind rage, smiting them in a flurry of tears and blood. She wakes up chained and imprisoned in what she now knows is The Tomb of Annihilation.
