Dulcet Warble of Evening, nicknamed "Dulcet" or "DWOE", was an Iterator. He had no gender or sex, but presented himself as more masculine. He was the senior of his local group. His can is situated upon a woodland region south of the in-game map.

Dulcet Warble of Evening was calm, rational, kind, thoughtful, and sophisticated. He was the rock of his local group; they found his patience and compassion comforting. Dulcet Warble of Evening was polite and respectful, but not a push-over. He could become assertive if needed. He and never lost his temper in front of anyone and navigated through conflict/stressful situations smoothly. He greatly valued life.

BACKSTORY

Though he respected the Ancients and always prioritized his duties as an Iterator, The Great Problem never interested Dulcet Warble of Evening. He found more pleasure in observing and documenting wildlife through his Overseers. Eventually, he became saddened by his confinement and tried to find a way to seperate himself from his can so he could explore the world and discover new creatures; however, this never came to be. Either due to an experiment gone wrong or plain neglect, Dulcet Warble of Evening slowly fell into disrepair and became incapacitated.

Some time later, the Echo of the Ancient Nine Serpents, Diamonds for Eyes possessed his body in an attempt to escape her purgatory. She continues to use his processing powers to determine a way for her to properly ascend. Dulcet Wable of Evening's Overseers—which are still functional, somehow—continuously try to sabotage her and save their Iterator.

Nine Serpents, Diamonds for Eyes

Being inoperative, Dulcet Warble of Evening is unaware of Nine Serpents, Diamonds for Eyes "borrowing" his body. Perhaps a tiny part of him deep down can feel it, but that part would not be able do anything about it.

• Barn owls were the inital inspiration for his design.

• Sometimes, Ancients and Iterators would use him as a sort of therapist or consular.

• He had a general American accent.
