Whirling Ellipse, nicknamed "Ellipse" or "WE", is an Iterator. She has no gender or sex, but presents herself as more feminine. Her can is situated over a swampy region south of the in-game map.

Whirling Ellipse's puppet has a dark purple and light green body. She has long, straight dark green antenna that hook at the tips. She wears a little purple cloak that overlaps a much longer one; the front is cropped on the right and it and flows into a train on the back. The interior of her clothing is dark green. Whirling Ellipse has lost both of her arms, and tangled wires now dangle from her empty sockets. Wires can also poke out from the mount of her antenna, but she can slip those back into place.

Whirling Ellipse is a second generation model. Her facility is deteriorating (her design was very experimental and later found to be flawed; without thorough, continuous maintenance, things tend to fall apart), but she can still perform most vital functions. Features such as anti-gravity still work. Her memory and communications are unreliable and will frequently fritz out.

Her Overseers are bright pink. Their curved tendrils are tipped with the typical blue. Their projections have a circular frame. They are mischievous trickers, entertained by projecting wrong information to any interested wildlife (lying about shelter locations, predators, etc.).

Whirling Ellipse is playful and carefree. She once dedicated her time to pondering the Great Problem and her own ascension, but later lost interest. She is still friendly, but her degrading systems has caused her to behave more loopy and eccentric (than she already was). Despite her bleak situation, Ellipse is optimistic and energetic. She can be rather spontaneous, having a short attention span and frequent memory lapses.

Dulcet Warble of Evening

Dulcet Warble of Evening was the senior of her local group. Whirling Ellipse never interacted with him much, but she respected him. She is unaware of his current state.
