Marcelle Lachdanan is a young and inexperienced butler in the Halifax household. Marcelle possesses a remarkable level of patience, tolerance, and understanding through dealing with strict discipline from her superior. Lachdanan gets along well with just about everyone in the staff. In fact, many servants are close in the Halifax household and was welcomed soon after her hire. However, she is surprised that her superior, Head Butler Leopold has softened up to her. To a point that she's slowly falls in love with him.

Marcelle Lachdanan is the oldest child in a family of skilled artisans, hailing from a family of goldsmiths and jewelry makers. Marcelle's parents are artisans renowned for their craft and makes a happy living in the Belvarian commons and markets. However, despite the family's legacy and her position as the eldest, Marcelle feels an innate discomfort with continuing the family business despite being next in line to carry on its legacy.
The moment occurs when Marcelle attempts to engage in the family craft by practicing in her father's workshop and accidentally shears off most of her long hair. This incident prompts her to reevaluate her skills and interests. Realizing her inclination towards more menial tasks such as housekeeping and caretaking, Marcelle decides to pursue a different path to contribute to her family's well-being.
Taking up a butler position proves to be a fortuitous choice for Marcelle. She secures a contract with the Halifax household, where the living conditions for the servants are more lenient, open, and welcoming compared to many noble homes. This environment allows Marcelle to comfortably get along with her fellow workers, creating a sense of camaraderie and peace within the manor.
Despite her commoner background, Marcelle becomes an integral part of the Halifax household, earning respect for her positive attitude, resilience, and dedication. Her role not only provides financial support for her family but also offers her the opportunity to visit them on her days off.
Lachdanan has only worked as one of Novelle Halifax's butler for a little over a year. So far, Marcelle finds comfort within the confines of the manor and its inhabitants. But everyone appears indifferent, if not feeling hatred towards the overseer of the whole manor, Leopold DeLorian. Marcelle included... for only a small period of time. But perhaps out of pity, Marcelle feels almost sorry that it seemed like the whole world is against Leopold. Of course, she holds no grudges to her superior and actively voices her appreciations to him without asking. (Mostly because she doesn't want to get fired.) She is the only one in the manor that has seen Leopold's softer side of him, to which she slowly gets swept away by his romantic and gentle nature.
- Marcelle has short, light brown hair and eyes.
- Light-hearted and kind. Only because she's younger than many of the staff, her inexperience makes her somewhat timid.
- As a butler, her outfit is uniform, crisp, and clean. The standard uniform is the monochrome black and white unless special occasions calls for other colors. Marcelle's uniform has a few light brown accents to compliment her hair and eyes.
- Lachdanan stands at 5'6".
- Prefers to wear continential ties or ribbon ties.
- Marcelle is slender, thought not very curvy compared to most of the women. She is smaller breasted, making it common for people to mistake her for a young man due to her uniform.
- Only two years ago was when she had an accident in her father's goldsmith workshop. She accidentally burns a portion of her hair, hence her short haircut. However, due to the convenience, she keeps it short.
- Every staff member has a common hatred toward the Head Butler, Leopold. However, Marcelle is more acceptive towards him and the only one that could tolerate him. In fact, she is in love with him.
- Perhaps of the accident, Marcelle is uncomfortable being responsible with anything involving fire. So her role to cook is out of the question.
- Her mother likes to fuel her hobby in jewelry making. So she sends weekly packages to allow her to continue her craft during her downtime.
- She likes making necklaces and jewelry to her peers. Leopold, in fact, refuses to wear any other brooches except for the one she makes.
