Jinks

A combatant of the Burning Red Pirates who serves as First Mate to Captain Ryuuda, a gravely stern skeletal ghoul whose very nature is surrounded by mystery.

One of few words, Jinks is a serious person of a hardened disposition, likely due to their lifetime of experience as a pirate. Naturally unsmiling, they are not the sort to joke around, and treat all matters with equal seriousness, particularly piracy. They can be seen as quite cold, even to their own crewmates, preferring to enjoy quiet solitude in their downtime. Calm and confident in times of crisis, Jinks is quick to reliably take command in a crisis if necessary (which it often is under Ryuuda's leadership).

Unable to remember details of their former life nor exactly how they became a skeleton, they can only recall: their name, that they had been a pirate, and their own skills with both blade and pistol. They do not recall their living appearance or gender, and thus uses neutral pronouns. As they are still able to swim to some extent, they have at least determined that their circumstances are not due to eating a Devil Fruit. Unbeknownst to them, Jinks is actually a victim of the powers of the Grudge-Grudge Fruit (Paramecia) eaten by a former opponent, whose power cursed anyone they considered to have wronged them in life to ghoulish immortality upon the user's own death. As such, Jinks is cursed to walk the earth by someone they don't even recall having fought.
