When Brix dropped out of medical school he told him he could help him study but he kind of got the wrong idea and is doing full surgery on him by himself to test his self made medication (..)
he is only comfortable with his friend Shad https://toyhou.se/2317937.shad They share a special bond together since the know each other since they met in Highschool where they were both more or less the outcasts of the class.
Brix does experiments on him to improve his abilities to become a doctor and that makes him feel awful since brix is not very nice when he gets in his trounce. He doesn’t care about his pain since he won’t respond so Rudy has to go through lowkey torture. Shad is always there to help him change his bandages or just support him while he deals with this situation and that’s also a reason why she is so special to him. It’s mostly a platonic relationship with some romantic moments and flirts here and there but none of them are confident enough to take it to the next level.
Until they became a couple they’ve had lots of problems to solve together. Starting with the fact that shadow was too afraid to do the next move in fear of ruining what she has with Rudy who was her only friend at the time. She’d go out dating other people trying to figure out her feelings or even trying to get rid of them. She would never actually like the people she was dating for short periods of time. Usually seeing them as a waste of time but still not giving in to her true feelings for Rudy.
They will later commit to a long term relationship together as they both realized they can’t keep it going like this.

Rudy’s clothes get stolen by Shad and Finley but he doesn’t rlly mind since there’s nothing he can do 〒∀〒
Rudy does have his episodes a lot but most of them don’t last long but they got more and more since he’s “helping” brix out. He is the most unstable one out of the squad but he keeps it to himself mostly. Sometimes he tells Shad like you read before but Finley catches him venting to himself from time to time and he tries to chear him up. He is not the kind of person that will stay sad for long but he can get beaten down by simple things.
