The two have a brotherly bond, always willing to help out one another. Edward really sees himself in the boy, especially when it comes to Thomas' stubborn ways. If only Thomas would listen once in a while!
Henry and Edward both have an interest in nature. They like to talk about birdwatching and the sights they see on their days out. Henry hates Edward's ghost stories, though. They're too freaky for him!
It's not that Edward dislikes Gordon, but he does find it hurtful that he always looks down on him. Gordon insists that the man should be doing more worthwhile things than the odd-jobs on the railway, but if he won't do it, who will?
The only one that can call him "Old Iron". Edward finds it funny whenever he has to help James out of a pickle. He's always talking about how great he is, then he screws up, and Edward has to get him out of his mess, and suddenly, boastful James gets awfully quiet...
