Profile
Silverstein appears as a cold and imposing man. His expression is hard to read and his voice - though not often used - is flat yet loud, words carefully measured. He holds relationships at an arms distance but is a useful asset and efficient worker.
Behind closed doors, you'll find the true nature that hides behind paint and careful manerisms - could you imagine a Clay Man in proper society? Not at the service of someone more fitting? ... Flint hides his true colours in the name of his ideals, determined to change how the world sees Clay Men.
- Tall and broad, but less so than most Clay Men
- Always wearing gloves; white most of the time, black for (literal) dirty work
- Doesn't have the goggles from older art anymore (redesign reasons)
- Ingame profile but it's a mess and dubiously canon at most
- Title is temporary until I figure out what he actually Does and give him a better noun lol
- Doesn't bleed nor eat.
- If you cut him open, it'd just be solid clay all the way down. Somewhat solid consistency, similar to real flesh except that if you press against it, it won't pull back into place, oops.
- Can eat to hold appearances but he doesn't actually have organs and has to later "manually remove" said food. Gross.
- Hair is a wig but is also actually attached to his scalp so ???

This song just feels like a Clay Man / Clay Quarters song. Yes the lyrics could apply to the whole neath but shhh its my playlist I get to choose the blorbo associations.

Much like your typical Clay Man, Silverstein can be loyal and devoted to a fault. Although his choice in work varies, he can be trusted to closely follow orders and is rarely one for betrayals. He gets a sense of satisfaction from being obedient but knows to not settle, his purpose lies elsewhere.

This pick dips into Silverstein's fear/paranoia of being found out. He hides his true nature from the world in the name of his ideals, only finding true comfort and safety in this home.

Another song for Silverstein's secrets - but more from the angle of not being able to fully trust anyone, no matter how much they insist otherwise. Can you truely believe that the opinion of those closest to you wouldn't change if they knew?
He also worries that if all else fails, he won't even be wanted back in Polythreme, shunned for trying to rise above his station (the mother in the song refering to The King with a Hundred Hearts).

The deep-seated desire to please others combined with how much he must keep people at a distance results in the guilty wish to just be normal, to be human and not have to suffer through this all.
