Gregory Ginger

Born into the Temple of Life and death and raised as a Monk of Healing, Greg has been devoted to the path of a healer his whole life. However, he was given a sacred task, his self being bound to a magic tome that gave him access to darker magic. When he was young he had a daughter whom he took care of for many years with his best friend by his side. But when time came the book, which has wisdom beyond mortal ken, told him to go into isolation to prevent it from falling in the wrong hands. 

He is a loving and gentle souls, burdened by a darkness that infests his soul, giving him the strength to do what is needed but weakening him nonetheless.
