A peepy teen who loves life and sincerely wants to make as many friends as possible.
Sunny grew up in Unova, on the outskirts of Castelia City. She came from a modest home and a large family. After her older siblings moved abroad to college, Sunny's parents decided to relocate off to Alola, to get away from the big city smog. Since Sunny was the last one around due to her age, she went along with her parents after getting her starter as her 15th birthday present.
In Alola, she caught her Growlithe on Route two before signing up for the trials.
Trivia
- Her Pancham was a gift from Cecil. Cecil wanted to expand Sunny's team, and give her a pokemon that was capable of defending her (the fact that Cecil also has a buff bipedal pokemon doesn't escape Sunny. That, and both Pancham and Cecil came from Kalos.) Cecil named the Pancham Moony, to go along with Sunny's naming pattern.
- Sometimes, when she's angry, her Unovan accent will slip out (It's the equivalent to a Brooklyn accent)
- Sunny always wears some kind of Red Tauros merch, be it her shirt or a hat. She grew up on it since it's her parents' favorite sports team.
- She always wears pins.
- Sunny's hair clip is the angry sun from Mario.
- Sunny keeps in contact with Hop from time to time just to see how his studies are going and how he’s holding up.
