I STOLE THAT FIRST...
About
Ghoul is, in short, an idiot. Been a theif all his life and has never made time to even try to speak with others. He is very dense and usually is in his own little world.
He's been very close to getting caught but he likes to flaunt all his earnings. Over the years he's learned slight of hand and is really good at sneaking away jewelry. All of his jewelry is stolen and he loves wearing it. BUT DONT YOU DARE OFFER HIM SILVER.
He loves the color gold and was always told that his mutation was never enough by his mother. He didnt have enough gold in his mothers eyes and his father thought it was ugly because of his ex wife. He learned how to steal from his father and uses those skills to cover himself in gold.

He likes to play around with jewelry by twirling it around his talons or wrapping it around his horns, sometimes he will dangle them from his horns to make little clink sounds when the jewelry hits.
He likes to make flower crowns but hes really bad at it so most of the time he just has to sadly pile flowers on his head for the same effect.
He tends to dig/drill his tail into the dirt whenver he sees a gaurd/officer who can deffinetly put him in jail.
When hes happy he tends to bounce up and down slightly and if hes super excited his wings will be pointed up.

Childhood

Ghoul was born in the central row to his mother Erisma Elegance (yes that is her real name) and Antonio Dorado. His mother is a wealthy painter who loves all things jeweled and golden. His father was a construction worker and merchant until he met his now ex-wife. They met in the market and she immediately took a liking to him. Long story short Ghoul was born. His name was actually given to him since his mother did not like him and would rather him be dead in all honesty. As a baby he didn't have any gold on him but after a few months it started to sprout. His mother was ecstatic to have a golden son not just because she loves the color gold, but she was excited to brag to her friends. But as he grew older he didn't have as much gold his mother wanted, the only way she would have accepted her son is if he was just a golden statue that didn't talk to her. So his parents split and he left with his father.
He and his father left to where his father was from, the black sands. His father was a devoted follower of the night. But soon after arriving there they ran out of money so his father had to steal and used Ghoul to steal.
Teenhood

In his teenage years his father made him do most of the stealing since he was small and unnoticeable. His father used to paint over his golden and pink scales because it bothered him and was too distracting. There were many times where he would get caught and his father would put the blame on him earning him many punishments. He Used to cry a lot and would often burst into tears after getting caught since he was just doing what he was told. Some guards felt bad for him and let him go while others would scold him.
He ended up running away and was taken in by an old sceptre but when they died he couldn't deal with the loss and decided that he didnt wanna go through that again. He perfected his skills and would play up his tears for sympathy.
Adulthood

As an adult he spends his time stealing and selling items. He doesn't speak to anyone unless he wants something from them.
You can catch him around crowded markets stealing from clueless folks. He doesn't speak to his parents and just pretends he never had any. He rarely gets caught and doesn't mess with any guards who wouldn't fall for his tricks. He also loves flowers and it's the only item he will pay for.
Ghouls day to day life consists of traveling from market to market, or pretty much anywhere. He will target large groups so that he isnt noticed as much. (kind of hard for a sceptre with gold scales and a weird colloration). He doesn't have a home but will often do favors for a place to live or just sleep in markets unless he's ran out. His father always welcomes him but Ghoul doesnt want to see him.
Trivia
- He prefers to go after tourists. He has been basically banned from some markets since the owners of shops will recognize him and run him off or call the gaurds.
- He has a hard time expressing his emotions, especially romantic ones, and often just sits around/hangs out around anyone he's interested in.(none of his previous crushes have noticed him)
- He's made plenty of dragons angry but he's usually able to talk his way out of any situation, only sometimes though.
- He doesnt remember much about his mother and prefers to keep it that way since from the stories he's told she was an asshole.
- Loves flowers, he will never steal from flower shops and often will compliment flower shop owners and will use any money he has left over to buy a few.

Erisma Elegance
motherErisma is a well known artist who has become rich in the central row thrugh her skills. She is obsessed with gold and will accsesorize herself without end. She married antonia because of his looks and not for his personality, she later regreted this and to this day pretends to not have a son and have been married.
Antonio Dorado
FatherAntonio was a constuction worker who had been hired to do renovations on Erisma's home. He took a liking to her and they soon got married and had ghoul, he loved ghoul but he learned that his wife at the time was not loving to their son. So he left her and fled to his hometown in blacksands, at that point he had gotten fired and no one wished to hire him (Erisma made sure of that). So he stole to keep him and his son fed. He was not the best father he knew that but at least he was there, he still tries to reach out and see Ghoul but Ghoul refuses.
