Galdrik

Previous History

Born a human woman, he sought to turn himself into a man at any cost. He stole, took small mercenary jobs, collected any bounty he could and scammed naive people all to save up and buy a potion that would permanently transform into the thing he felt he was always meant to be.

He fully knew the consequences of drinking that particular potion. He knew that he would forget everything but he didn't care. To him it was a blessing. He'd run far away from where he was born and where he was known and registered. He'd move someone people didn't even know he existed that way once he drank the potion he'd be able to have a true fresh start with no link to his previous life.

Previous Status

Galdrick was originally a noble in his old life, abandoning riches in his change, but more importantly- abandoning an arranged marriage. All money he would have had was heavily monitored by his father.

Originally knew he drank a potion that changed his appearance but didn't remember anything else. He still doesn't remember what his original name was, what he used to look like or anything outside of his knowledge of magic and combat. His current oldest memory is 'waking up' in a little camp site, alone, empty transformation potion in hand.

Current Information

Galdrick currently works as an educator, being hired by various magic academies for his expertise in bardic spells. Despite his lack of knoweldge of his past, he seems to be a well-travelled, or at least well-learned former adventurer. His abilities match up with 20th level bards, though it's still uncertain what college he aligns with.

His teaching style is very off-the-cuff and extravagant, making it difficult for him to find a perminant job. Despite this, many of those who have hired him give him quite high praise. He's a mysterious individual, but one who does good work.

Galdrick's Species

The species from the potion's change seems to be an undocumented creature. Guesses from those who have hired him have included relation to; Teiflings, Firbolgs, Celestials, Devils, and Satyrs. He has been called 'Fauxling' by some due to his decidedly non-teifling nature.

Galdrik Adorelan

Personality

  • He has a playful personality with a love for entertainment and knowledge in equal amounts. He used to the stereotypical bard who lived to tease and flirt without any real feeling behind it, but has become more restrained over time. He still can be quite the flirt, but he now is better at understanding that there's a time and place for that sort of behavior.
  • He often acts before he thinks and throws himself into situation that sounds fun and exiting without considering the posibilities of traps and danger. It doesn't make him the best adventurer nowadays, but it does make him quite the entertaining instructor.
