Anyone who's met Noctis would first think to describe him as cheeky. This is far from wrong. He is a playful man, one with a penchant for teasing, sarcasm, and flirting. It's rare for him to go one conversation without throwing in some kind of smooth remark or joke. He's the prideful sort, to a very cocky degree, and is no stranger to flaunting his self-confidence, often to the detriment of those who dislike such showy behavior. This is typically shown through his very bold, dramatic, and stylish mannerisms. He is, to put it lightly, very "extra." He's often described as having no shame, which isn't entirely untrue. He's often one to make a scene, to say the least. Despite the larger-than-life air he has about him, he's actually a surprisingly approachable man. He's incredibly charismatic and sociable, able to strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He knows how to use his words to get what he wants, be it a favor or just a nice chat. He has a very laid-back approach to the world, liking to go with the flow and improvise along the way for the most part. If something bothers him, it typically doesn't stay in his mind for long. He doesn't have much patience when it comes to getting bored, and finds this approach to life to be very entertaining. However, as much as he may seem like an open book by this description, he actually puts a great deal of effort into being difficult to read. He can easily come off as though he's just fooling around, regardless of his true intentions. He's very good at appearing dumb while actually being quite clever and on top of things. An observant enough stranger can notice this mysterious and almost shady energy from him. While he's not one to confirm nor deny any sort of darker nature under the surface, he's definitely far from a saint. In fact, he actually has a surprisingly villainous streak to him. This can be especially seen when he's faced with an enemy. He is downright ruthless and almost a little sadistic in combat. He will taunt and play around with his foes relentlessly, and has the strength to back up his attitude. He's the kind of man who could kick your ass with a smile and a laugh. Definitely good not to get on his bad side.

Underneath the personality he shows on the surface, however, Noctis is a much softer person than meets the eye. He has a heart of gold shrouded by shadows, to put it poetically. He has a very positive outlook on the world. No matter how bad things get, he's always confident that they'll turn out in the end. He is truly kind to those who he takes a fancy to, and cares about his relationships with others deeply. He has surprisingly motherly tendencies, often doting on and nurturing those in need. He highly values friendship and family, and will do anything to protect those he views in such a light. He wants to make everyone close to him feel just as loved as his family made him feel in his past. He doesn't take kindly to anyone who would threaten that, and you'll be quick to make a very dangerous enemy if you mistreat those he cares about. His pride exists not just for himself, but for what he is as well. He cares a lot for his traditions and heritage. He often repeats familial mantras and is quick to uphold the DeLuna name with the honor he feels it deserves. He respects his magic and what it represents, and will not tolerate anyone who doesn't do the same. Naturally, given his family's disappearance, he carries a lot of pressure and weight on his shoulders. He's currently the only DeLuna, and he knows he has quite a reputation to uphold. He does as such with pride, but he can't deny the amount of stress it can cause him as well. He tries to pretend like it doesn't bother him (along with many of the other problems he faces), but it's not quite that simple. He is also very driven to reclaim what he's lost. Most of the intentions people may view him as "shady" for have to do with him trying to find answers about his missing family. He's very much a man on a mission, and he won't rest until it's been completed.

As expected from his being a witch, Noctis has plenty of powerful magic on his side. He can pull off a plethora of different techniques, and uses them with the utmost style. To aid in his magic, he has plenty of contracts with infernal beings. The main demon he partners with is a very unique one—the "Hungry Chariot" Auriga. Contrary to his name, Auriga is actually a demonic motorcycle. With a large, chomping mouth in the front and trails of stardust leaving his exhaust pipes, he is truly a sight to behold. Noctis can use Auriga's help in various ways. First and foremost, the demon is a very helpful transportation device. He often rides the demon to get places quickly. While Auriga can drive on normal ground just fine, he can also defy gravity, allowing Noctis to ride along walls/ceilings, or even create roads in midair using its stardust. However, he can only make these midair roads for so long before needing to refuel (AKA eat, as his "hungry" title would imply.) Noctis also uses Auriga as his main partner in combat, riding around on him to pull off incredible attacks with Auriga's wheels and teeth. As Auriga is his own being, the two can also work independently of each other. For instance, Noctis can be off using his own weapon while Auriga is zooming around munching up enemies. Whatever the case, the duo is near-inseparable. Auriga has quite a personality after all, and the two are good friends. While not using Auriga, Noctis has plenty of his own weaponry at his disposal. While he's not picky on what he fights with, he does quite enjoy guns and polearms, such as spears or scythes (NOTE: Really this is just because I don't know what weapon to give him yet lmaooo,, bear with me.) Or, if he's really feeling daring, he can use simple hand-to-hand combat. He's powerful enough to make it work.

Backstory

TBA, at least in detail. Really I covered the basics in his intro lmao. He was the only male born to the DeLuna family, yet still had magical prowess. He was raised by this family in their home, a sort of island hidden away from the world by magic. He learned how to be a witch thanks to them. Then one day his family disappeared and the magic protecting their home faded, so now he's left to go find them.

• He is incredibly good at making soups and stews. In his youth, he was trained in potion-making by first making soup, as the two are "remarkably similar," as he puts it. He has a lot of family recipes, and takes great pride in showing them off. He's great at making tea for a similar reason.
• Of course, he can also make potions and other magic concoctions. However, he hardly ever keeps them in liquid form due to the inherently bitter nature of most of them. While he's used to it, having to take plenty during his training, he knows others will find it completely unpalatable at worst. Instead, in order to make them more accessible and curb the bitterness, he's learned to make them into candies, specifically lollipops. It doesn't get rid of the flavor entirely, but it does help.
• He loves animals, and especially cats. He will take time out of his day to stop and pet any cat he sees. This can be frequent, as his magical aura tends to attract certain animals to him, cats being one of them. He also loves snakes, bats, and crows.
• He is a huge fan of jazz, and really any music with jazzy elements. Upbeat or slow, it doesn't matter to him.
• He LOVES nicknames and pet names. Everyone he interacts with will get at least one unique nickname, though that may change depending on how long he knows them.
• While he only fluently knows English as far as human languages go, he also understands Hymnic (the language of divine beings) and Diabolic (the language of infernal beings.) He's willing to speak both if anyone asks him to.
• While most divine beings take issue with him, making up many of the enemies he has to face, he himself actually has no ill will toward them. He doesn't go out of his way to make himself an enemy of the divine, and only fights those who pick a fight with him first. In truth, he finds divine beings fascinating and quite beautiful. He just prefers keeping infernal beings as company. That being said, knowing the bad blood they have with witches, he wonders if they may have answers about his family's disappearance.
• He is a very fashionable man. He always wants to look his best, and helps others to look their best as well. However, it's incredibly rare to see him out of his usual bodysuit. This is because it's a sort of magic armor. While it appears like leather in texture, it's virtually indestructible and keeps his body safe from various types of blows. Or, at least, it keeps him safer than normal clothing would. He sees this suit as almost sacred, and claims to feel naked if he isn't wearing it.
• He absolutely LOVES the night sky. He finds it beautiful. Alongside this, the moon enhances his magic powers significantly, so when it's out, he knows he's at an advantage.
• He takes very good care of his hygiene, and is prone to wearing perfumes. As such, he always smells very nice.
