Grace

[ First love ] An Afflicted girl from Nedri's youth. Nedri's first love and first girlfriend. They met at a support group when Nedri had moved in from out of state and became fast friends soon after. They knew eachother for about 6 months. Grace died at 13 years of age due to the rapid progression of the disease. Her affliction type was centipedes. Grace was a happy kid who spend most of her time drawing or spending time with other Afflicted kids her parents set her up to hang around with. She had been in support groups for others like her since she was 7 years old (when the infestation began showing itself outwardly). Her malady began in her hands and stomach. The infestation on her left hand progressed much faster than the masses on her stomach and her arm had to be amputated to slow the death clock. As other kids with her Condition, she had come to accept that she was destined to die by the time her actual death rolled around. She was rather obvious about her affections towards Nedri and as they were due to die at a young age, their romance was encouraged by Grace's parents. Better to have her experience the type of love that made life worth living before she passed. They dated for only 1 month, cut short by her sudden death. The centipedes had been causing bleeding cysts in her stomach and had led to multiple organ failure.

Marge

[ Second crush ] A girl from Nedri's tumultuous teen years and Nedri's 2nd crush (unrequited). An aspiring beautician. Met Nedri half way into freshman year of highschool when Marge transfered in from out of state. They werent instant friends but Nedri found herself attarcted to Marge's socialite personality, eventually going out of her way to instigate a friendship. Marge knew of Nedris crush on her and chose to avoid speaking to Nedri about it direclty, opting instead to complain about it to her other friends. She soon gathered a cult following of people who bullied Nedri for her orientation (as well as made swipes at her condition). Nedri, not knowing Marge was the cause of the rumors about her, continued to speak to her and talk to her like friends. They remained 'friends' up until graduation where it finally came to light that Marge had been telling these people of her crush and how she had said it was disgusting and pathetic. Marge of course didnt see anything wrong with what she has said, stating she was only saying how it was and refusing any blame that could be put upon her for having kickstarted the 4 years of humiliation,dread and crushing stress Nedri had endured. Graduation ceremony completed, they went their separate ways, Marge going on to attend beautician vocational school. She ended up getting a job in what she had always aspired in and forgot completely about her ringleader escapades in highschool. They dont keep in touch.

Cherry

[ 2nd love ] A cursed girl from Nedris early adult life. College going Office lady who was Nedris 1st long term girlfriend and 2nd requited love. Started dating after a few months of knowing eachother and are currently still dating [2 yrs in current canon (Nedri being 22 presently)]. Cherry is a goverment sanctioned cannibal whom is fed the flesh of deathrow convicts to sate the cravings caused by her curse. When the Curse acts up, her sclera turns black and turns her pupils to white rings in her eyes;teeth turning sharp. Her tongue is abnormally long in both weremonster form and regular human form.
