Distaste:
Due to Lord Anwar's push to never combine humans and Yokai, Wink is never on the surface of Earth with out some form of illusion or disguise to make him seem human. It's not something that he's that keen on, he likes how he actually looks but understands his Dad's push, as well as following the rules is the only way he'll be allowed out on his own.
However, now he's moved to America and met some of the people there, he doesn't see why they have to be so separate.
