Tempest holds themself much like a knight would: calm, calculating, polite and proper. It was in their job to be hypervigilant with other individuals and to be quick to sus out malintent before it became a danger. Loyal and unfaltering, tenacious and resolute, they strictly do not stray from the path that they have chosen- one of goodness and heroics, and do look down upon those who cause unneeded strife and chaos (though this strict code of law for themself was shaken when they were involved in the death of the king). Deep in their heart they seek betterment both in themself, and the world around them and will go at great lengths to help others. When in the company of those they trust, though, and in times where they can relax they are quite a playful and dorky individual. With their siblings, they took the role of protector and caretaker over their younger siblings. They often would attempt to coax Brutus out of her shell, attempting to encourage her to stand up for herself and find her voice, while also trying to keep Thorne out of trouble (with a range of success on both fronts).
- Fiery Sword
- Exactly 3 pretty rocks
- Literally nothing else...
- They're dirt poor too lol...
Design Notes!
- Their red cape is optional!
- Their sword, while important, can be optional too!
- Their sword can emit fire and will flicker with flames when in usage!
- Their canine ears are very expressive!
Trivia
- They were designed by my fiance which means they hold an EXTREMELY special place in my heart!!
- I played them in campaign!! Actually CURRENTLY playing them as I write this!
- They have two siblings: Brutus, younger sister, and Thorne, youngest sibling
- Aesthetics: Knights, swords, flames, wolves, fallen knights, corruption, being out of control of one's self
Ah... I should probably clean this profile up. This is the write up I used before playing them in our DnD campaign! But it works well as a brief history!
Tempest's home city: Pytho (Pie-tho)
Parents: Passed away. Mother passed soon after Thorne was born and father, who worked as the king's artist and architect passed not long after from heartbreak.
The siblings were swept up under the care of the king, the prince, and those who lived in the castle due to Tempest and Brutus' talents being recognized at a young age. Tempest joined the knights of the guard and Brutus was kept a close eye on due to her talent to foresee the future. (Thorne never ended up showing any real talent, but they didn't know that at the time due to them being so young). Tempest excelled in training and ended up climbing the ranks fast. By the time they turned eighteen they were considered one of the most valueable knights, often accompanying the King on missions to escort him.
On the morning of one of these missions Brutus has a vision of a wolf devouring the sun, but before she can inform the King of his life being in danger, she is cut off by the Prince asking for her hand in marriage. Tempest is the only knight chosen for the mission as it is considered a low danger mission and Tempest's abilities being well equiped to keep him safe. Out of nowhere Tempest is wracked with a strange feeling causing them to black out. When they finally come to they see the King's form fade and break apart into data in front of them and what's worse? They are covered in blood. The king's blood. Not long after the Prince appears, seeing Tempest covered in his father's blood he at first seems like he wants to take Tempest's life for it, but then hesitates, pulls back, and says that in the name of his (now) betrothed he will spare them as long as they run and never come back.
They run and after a short period of time they make their way Xaisoliz- hearing of a fountain that can empower X Antibody Digimon. In their mind, they hope that the fountain can clear them of their "corruption" (whatever caused them to, as they believe it, kill the king).
