Rabbitkit was born as Stone to two unnamed rogues. When Stone was born, he was left simply at the Korvidclan border, and these rogues never saw her again.

Stone was found at the border by Thornpetal, at that time a young prophet. Thornpetal immediately took them in as his own, and named him Rabbit. Rabbitkit, vulnerable, small, and skittish. Rabbitkit was immediately enthralled by the stars, hearing every one of their whispers. A few days before her apprentice ceremony, his father barely talked to them, but instead staying by Hailstar. When Rabbitkit was made into a warrior apprentice, she never knew why. Rabbitpaw was ten moons old when the sun hollowed. That was the first time he heard his father scream.

Rabbitpaw raced to the badger den where they'd processed his dad's friend was yowling in pain. Rabbitpaw raced in after her father, watching his throat bleed out. They decided that Tumblestorm was more likely to be salvaged. He turned out to be wrong. When her eye was properly patched up after their warrior vigil, he saw her father. He was fine, *good*, even. Not even a scar anywhere. His eyes were slightly reddened, though Rabbitfoot had to assume that was normal. Tumblestorm was blinded by the hollowed sun, Rabbitfoot was blinded in their left eye from a badger, and her father could see. He could look at Rabbitfoot with an.. uncanny stare. He could see all of it. Not too long after, when Rabbitfoot would attempt to sleep, he heard her father's voice. He was never there. After a little bit, Rabbitfoot started to understand it. They were pleas for help, and when Rabbitfoot looked hard enough, they saw his father sobbing, pleading to see the stars. Rabbitfoot understood. Starclan had denied his father, colloquially known as the omen seeker, and always understood the messages, enterence to starclan. Rabbitfoot told Hailstar, who refused to believe Thornpetal was dead. Rabbitfoot continued spreading this knowledge and later made a group, a rebellion, The Moon. This group consisted of Rabbitfoot, Sharpfern, Tumblestorm, Oakwind, and Coyotetooth. At least at first, some cats from other clans caught wind of this and joined in, a leader nor medicine cat ever joined The Moon, and all the prophets were. weird.
