Has a cleft lip, and a soft, slightly stilted voice from growing up nonspeaking deaf. She is fluent in ASL, and got hearing aids and began working on speech therapy because she was inspired to be a Let's Player by YouTubers she liked. She also wanted to play online multiplayer games and later to be active in hobby communities. She’ll turn off her hearing aids if she doesn’t want to listen to people talk.
Goes by her middle name, Halley - pronounced Hay-lee, or one of her screen names (HalleyzComet/DazeDream) Her full name is Dolores Bellman, but nobody calls her that.
Dazey is surprisingly sporty given her other more “nerdy” hobbies. She’s done soccer and gymnastics.
Has a complicated relationship with anime and otaku culture thanks to unmoderated internet access as a child. She is both very nostalgic for it, and also kind of repulsed by the fandom culture around it.
