Profile
Elijah is a Vampel, a being that shares both the traits of an angel and a vampire. Elijah seems to act as the midpoint of both. He doesn't like feeding on the living, knowing that it is wrong, yet acknowledges his nature and that it is what must be done for him to survive. He simply treats it as the way things go, and that it is the survival of the fittest.
Elijah is very book-smart, intellectually curious and perceptive. He seems to view the world in a purely academic way, not bothering with emotions and feelings as many humans may. He feels as though that is a waste of his precious time, and spends most of it alone with a book (in Braille) and some tea.
Elijah was born as a Vampel in the Victorian era. He grew up with the literature and culture of that time and, unlike many other vampels, follow the new trends of the time, instead sticking to gothic, Victorian styles and mannerisms.

- Elijah prides himself on his handwriting, having perfected his cursive over the years. It looks more like a font than handwriting.
- He learnt most of his vocabulary from books, so will sometimes pronounce them wrong when talking to other people.
- He is blind and uses a cane to get around. He lures humans by using his blindness for sympathy.
- Elijah had a deep phobia of the sky. Although he cannot see it, he knows it's there which unsettled him. This is another reason he spends most of his time alone indoors.
- Elijah's familiar, Romeo, spends most of its time asleep. Even though it's not that active, Elijah views it as his best friend, not having any others.
- Elijah's eyes, halos and tongue all glow. However, as he is blind, he cannot see further in the dark.
- He keeps his parasol with him at all times when he's outside, he seems to believe it will protect him from the sky.
- He wears gothic, Victorian fashion, and prefers his outfits strictly monochromatic.
- Only at the right angle can somebody see through his glasses' lenses. Otherwise, they completely block them from view.
