Bastion

An upperclassmen at Uva Academy, Bastion spends all of his time painstakingly researching about the Treasures of Ruin.

With an obsession with Paldea's past, Bastion strives to re-discover the Treasures of Ruin to witness the destruction once brought hundreds of years ago. After releasing each treasure from their seal, his rationality quickly crumbled and he now attempts to resurrect the research on Paradox Pokemon led by Professor Sada regardless of the consequences.

Paradox Phenomenon: Child of Ruin

A resident of the facility currently attending school at Uva Academy. Discovered near the unsealed shrine of Chi Yu, it is speculated that at a young age the boy broke the seal and has control over the Beads of Ruin. Background research revealed the child to be a descendant of Paldean royalty, however any traces of existing relatives have not been found. Strangely, the boy has an aura of what other researchers call “Ruin”, bringing dangerously bad luck to anyone around him. Publicly the boy is on record as sickly and frail, allowing for isolation from other students and teachers while enrolled in school.
