Born into Sellsnake poverty, Reyes fought for scraps alongside other Sellsnake children and his greediness may possibly stem from this. He was in slave captivity for a week until they let him free due to his "annoying voice." When he reached the age of fourteen, he joined the Sellsnakes and years later, we was kicked out for "multiple reasons". He is looked down upon by most people that know him. He even managed to lose his right eye in a bet. 

He is a compulsive liar and a coward, and many people tend to ignore him than pay any attention to him.
