Lucy at first seems like a quite polite lady, whos put together and doesn't say much. It's clear that she's from a good family and is very graceful in the things she dose.... in front of other people. Once away from her family, and behind close doors, she lets her self lets loose. In her own time she loves to do math for fun, doing strange mathatics at the most random times. She passively can say how many steps someone takes to get one place to another. She has poor eyesight but her family didn't let her where her glasses in public to not look "Too bookish" Wanting her to be able to marry up, and get better social standing in the world. Lucy knew that no matter what she did a well off man would never ever want to marry her. She's just not right, she can only hold her mask of quite and polite for so many hours. She giggles easily, yawns the second she's tried. AND CAN NOT AND WILL NOT ever talk about the weather, and such dull things.
She has favorite numbers that she likes to put around her in very subble silly ways. From wearing fabrics with 36 flowers on it, to wearing barcelets with 36 chain links. 36 is her favorite number. And to her Making Jewelry Is the closest thing to the number 36. (good luck understanding why that is) But her, Making Jewelry is the only way to make her inside thoughts outside. Someone who knows her well can tell how she's feel just by the the jewelry she is wearing.
Because of her loves of numbers Lucy finds her self well suited to being a leader. It dosent take her long to find the chocie that will most likely lead to a good ending. Couse of this she often plays it safe. those risks in life arent the things she loves to do. but! she's great at running a store.
Over all Lucy is quite until something gets her interest, She watches other people closely, She likes being in change once others give her the chance.
Biography:
Lucy is part of a big mixed family, Lucy's farther is half Shoanti but has done his best to hide it from all but his family. Lucy's Mother is a noble who "Married Down", And only having four daughters is worried about there futures. Training them all in the ways of romancing a noble.... Lucy did well learning manors in theory but just all ways seemed to mess up; In small ways that Lucy never understood her self.
School on the other hand was something that Lucy was great at. Things just stayed in her brain better. She spend her free time in libraries often having to be dragged back home by her family.
Most of her skills come from school, Other then Making Jewelry, Her father attacully taught her that. Lucy often mixes Shoanti Jewelry styles with poplar korvosan styles. Jewelry sparked Lucy's passion, she knew it was the thing she wanted to do. Her Mother was very agaengest as a noble man wants a house wife not a "Metal smith"
When Lucy was 20 to the dismay of her mother, she took a year long trip to travel around to learn more about jewelry around Varisia. Planing on opening her own shop one day she wanted a bigger idea about what's poplar. And with in that trip She met Climetime
They met at a small jewelry supply store in a small town whose name is meaningless. hey spent nearly all day in the store, just chatting. Their words seemed to melt together in a way that no one but them could follow what they were saying. Lucy never contented to someone like this back home. Climetime just seemed to effortlessly understand her. But the two where from different worlds, and that's with out the whole Climetime being a gnome thing. But the two couldnt let this meeting go to waste, as the both went there own ways; they exchaiged info to send letters to other.
For months Lucy and climetime would send letters, falling for each other more and more with every word. Keeping the letters hidden from her family, having a gnome lover would give her parents a heart attack. Lucy started to play with the idea of Climetime moving to korvosa. And Climetime offered Lucy to get married, then he would move to korvosa. Lucy agreed, agreed before even talking to her parrents about climetime. She only started talking about it when the private wedding was a week away.. still not taking about how he's a gnome.
None the less to say it has not taken well by her family.... But.... it was hard to them to not soften up a little to climetime, they saw how well the two are together . the Dinescu’s even leanded them money to start there jewelry shop.
Life was good. Lucy felt bolder around Climetime, and Climetime felt like he was fully seen. to two didnt need to mask them selfs away. There was no walls. it was just truth.
Climetime was the only person who to see the real Lucy and Lucy was the only one to see the real Climetime.
