Origin
Orun is a monk from a distant land in the mountains, hailing from a tribe of bears who help travelers who get lost in the mountains, he was trained in the forms of Wind Trabea, not only to defend himself from would-be assailants, but to redirect the flow of potential blizzards along with his family. Orun was quite the prodigy at Wind Trabea, where by the age of 25, he was deemed a master at the form, and would normally be spending his time training his companions or anyone who wished to know.
On one mysterious day, he had heard a loud crash outside of his village, a giant meteor had crashed down, it was anything unlike the man had seen, when he had went to investigate, the meteor would secrete an inky goo, draining him of his energy, and forcing him and some others to retreat... later that day, a figure had wound up to the village, looking exactly like Orun, but with none of the compassion he's known for, rather a beast of wind and ferocity.
The Scalefallen attack had devastated his home, Orun was plenty strong so he and the other monks could fend of the scalefallen Orun, it was a problem because of its ability to match Orun's techniques, ones that he knows would be terrifying in the wrong hands. After a long and grueling battle, Orun alone had came out victorious among the injured monks, but at the cost of half of his body, unsure of what to do, and running out of time, the monks used the remaining scalefallen parts and grafted them onto Orun's body, it was a success and Orun survived! but it came at a cost...
Orun's body was horribly miscolored, and his new half-Scalefallen body made him horribly skinny because it took so much energy to maintain, he had to eat much more food in order to keep his current physique, he knew that he was capable of taking it, but he and his fellow monks worried about him, and expressed their desire to help him no matter what. That's when he decided to take his leave, going off on a journey outside of the Sky Temple for the first time, trekking from place to place, helping out the local population wherever he can, and defeating any Scalefallen in the way, the rumors of a Scalefallen bear saving people had spread around and the myth of "The Devil's Sun" was born, a bear who would protect your village in exchange for food, otherwise, tragedy would occur.
He would find himself in the Swamp/Crater kingdom border after travelling, where he resides in a slum in the Swamp Kingdom, protecting the citizens from any sort of crime from outsiders, and noting that his work had made a positive impact on the city, so he decided to stay.
Personality
Orun's kind and always been kind, he is very well-spoken and is at his best in social gatherings, however he still is a very stern man when it comes to training, being especially tough on those who slack on their training, he loves to see others grow, and is willing to teach anyone some of his Wind Trabea abilities as long as they're able to listen.
He is vicious to criminals and traitors, often draining them until they go unconscious, he takes the truth very seriously, and does not appreciate lying or bullying, often being strict with children that display this quality, and downright angry at adults who display this quality.
Abilities
Orun is a master of Wind Trabea, he is able to use it to deflect projectiles or to push or pull objects, he can also use it to fly, and redirect clouds, preventing adverse weather if he focuses enough.
He can use it offensively to create powerful explosions of wind, generate tornadoes and shoor pressurized air like bullets if need be, but it's rare for him to do that, normally his martial fighting skills are more than enough.
Orun's Scalefallen body has also granted him the ability to drain energy out of his opponents, and is able to use it to keep his Scalefallen half healed, however, should he use too much energy, he will lose control and start attacking indiscriminately.
Trivia
Orun's name comes from the Yourban representation of the heavens in their religion, which is where the deities live.
Orun's favorite food is Ramen, given that it warms him up and is very tasty!
It is implied that Orun is right-handed, but rarely does tasks with it.
"The Devil's Sun" Is actually a play on how myths evolve and change over time, originally his nickname would have been "The Dragon's Son" literally because half of his body is Scalefallen, leading people to believe he was from them, eventually it would change to "The Dragon's Sun" to represent him being a sun bear, Then finally it would change from Dragon to Devil because of the perception of the scalefallen as Devils to some people. The title is meant to be misleading and nonsensical for a reason!
