Backstory

Adonis was raised as a sailor with his parents being fishers. He spent most of his childhood on the open waters with the scent of salt in his nose and the harsh sea winds in his hair. When they weren't on the water, they stayed home in their little hut on a small remote island, away from most common sea routes. Once he became old enough, he fashioned a boat of his own and separated from his parents, though he had a decent relationship with them, he wished to forge his own path without the two weighing in on his decisions. 

For many years, Adonis reluctantly followed his parent's footsteps, continuing fishing and selling his bounty at nearby trading posts and marketplaces. However, after one particularly successful day of selling, he decided to venture out on land rather than immediately returning to his boat. He left the market and went exploring in a nearby forest, eventually happening upon a large meadow. In this meadow, the scent of honey and lavender danced in the air (definitely an upgrade from the salt and fish smell he had grown accustomed to). With this scent accompanied a sweet and soft voice, humming a tune in which had never heard before. Intrigued and enchanted, he followed it. After a few minutes of following this sweet song, he soon met the singer of the said melody, Wisteria Verbena, the traveling teamaker. He'd seen this aki a few times in the market from afar, but never had an opportunity to speak with her. Wisteria, hears his approach and turns her head to face him with an inviting smile before asking him to join her for tea. 

After this meeting the two became virtually inseparable. Though Adonis would leave to return to his job, traveling and selling the fish at other trading posts, he would always return to Wisteria as fast as he could. After years of separation, Adonis could stand it no longer and decided to become a local fisherman, only fishing near that post. Wisteria eventually asks him if he'd like to join her on her travels since there were many lakes and rivers along the continent. He eagerly agrees and the two venture off together, often spending the days they weren't traveling at Wisteria's cottage near the meadow where the two initially met.

They soon end up becoming mates and they now spend their days selling teas and home-cooked meals for weary travelers.
