About
Though his appearance and size might be intimidating, Rex is actually a really nice guy. He has a loud personality, usually believing it's better or more impactful when he yells something our as opposed to just normally talking. He teaches wild pokemon about how to fight or defend themselves, knowing not everyone would want a trainer. Though he's particularly strong or weak against certain types, he's able to effectively teach anyone due to his experience with all types in the past.

Past
He's known many humans and trainers throughout his life. He'd usually have been used for a bit of time upon capture, before being traded to another person, where the cycle continued. However, around when he reached level 30, he was finally taken in by a trainer who kept him around for a while. Said trainer was just as loud and charismatic as Rex is now, and is where he got a lot of his current traits from.
They'd been together for years, reaching Rex all the way to max level. However, they eventually had to part ways since his trainer wanted to retire, and let Rex be free in the wild to do whatever he wishes.
Present
He's now a teacher for pokemon. He helps those who don't know how to defend themselves, or want to improve upon their fighting abilities, or just want to be trained in general. He's willing to take anyone in, though there's been some pokemon who uses the training for bad instead of good.
Alejo [ Friend ]
The two are friends and have known each other for quite a while. He's always willing to help Alejo when needed, though Alejo insists he's fine on his own. Rex also occasionally requests Alejo to help with some lesson for his classes, considering they know each other well and Alejo is at a pretty decent level.
