Personality: Amalah is reserved with his personal life. He focuses mostly on his career of guarding the city from the attacks by rogues who've gone to work with Brizania. He's strict in his method of guards and in his orders to those who are below his. He is deeply afraid of the rogues attacking his sick younger brother. He's got deeply seeded anxiety about not being in control because of his paranoia about being attacked and unable to do anything. His walls drop around Baliar, who is the single person he does not want to intimidate with his hardened personality. He never lets his guard down however, and he never invites people into his home apart from Baliar's doctor and teacher.

Bio: He became a member of the city guard because one time rogues who worked for Brizania broke into his house to use it as a safe house and they mortally wounded his older brother, who was the legal guardian of Amalah and his younger brother, Baliar, after their parents commit a suicide pact because his mother was deathly ill, and left him to die. Amalah was 11 at the time and Baliar was a baby, only a few months old, as such, they were put into foster care. They were passed from house to house as Amalah's anxieties and difficult personality and Baliar's constant sickness made them hard to handle. Upon coming to the age of 18 and joining the guard, Amalah petitioned the city for guard housing, a basic two room apartment, and legal guardianship over his brother. He was able to use the fact that the two had never been apart but also never stayed in the same house for long as his argument and win. He's now the sole caretaker of his younger brother who is constantly sick and very weak and he's deeply afraid that more rogues will attack and kill him. He puhed very hard to progress in the ranks as guard so that he could make sure that the city is as safe as possible.
